3 years to be precise.First Boxing Day game for years
3 years since a home game on Boxing Day ? I thought it much longer than that as can’t remember it at all ?3 years to be precise.
I was critical of our executives yesterday because of the shoddy way I think our club is currently being run, in more ways than one, but was told I was talking rubbish, being silly and somebody even hinted I was a supporter of another team. We’ll never achieve anything constructive as a fanbase because too many people don’t see it as a problem.
Mine and my son’s season tickets are nowhere near these match day prices, so I’ll just become one of the many “I’m alright Jacks” amongst our supporter base and watch this frog boil.
One game for a family of four - £216 before you add on any extras.
I normally agree with a lot of what you post, but I don’t think you’re reading the room on this one mate. Some truth in what you say but there will be a lot of hard up regulars whom are off in their skiing holidays, who are returning tickets, as well as the loathsome ticket agencies.
The original figures were £50m participation and £150m to the winners. That’s quite a big drop to the cost of Nunes. That’s a welcomed season ticket and match day price freeze next season.
Manchester City and Chelsea are in line to net summer windfalls of up to £60million - after Fifa signed a $1billion television deal with DAZN for the right to screen the Club World Cup.
Mail Sport understands that while no final decision has been made, both clubs have been told expect between £50m and £60m from their participation in the tournament, which takes place in the United States next year, after the game-changing agreement with the UK-based broadcaster last week.
The club would rather have empty seats than give us cheap tickets. Probably see it as give us an inch and we'll take a mile, so doubt they're going to budge, besides they probably think it's bargain considering they don't live on the same financial planet as the rest of usGot the email this morning about boxing day Everton tickets,
first thing went through my mind was ooh mustn't be able to shift em, therefore cheap tickets,
how silly I was, would have snapped em up straight away for daughter and grandson,
not at that price, its absolutely barmy
They are an absolute disgrace and we as a fanbase should be hammering these twats, short term thinking and a total disregard for the legacy fans and two fingers up for fans who want to treat their children or grandchildren, they have no idea about our core support, we do NOT have hordes of fans all across the country desperate for tickets, we are not the 'ugly sisters', the day trippers from overseas will drop off if success isn't maintained, you extend the ground and make no effort to make it affordable for local fans, utterly clueless.wow, another ticketing shambles, what has happened to our club, greedy greedy bastards
Return coach travel from North Yorkshire to the Etihad and back via Leeds and Harrogate. £15 adult. £10 concession. Parking included. A return family ticket is £30I normally agree with a lot of what you post, but I don’t think you’re reading the room on this one mate.
No trains and double fare for taxis as well.
It was clear our Directors couldn’t be trusted when they reversed the heavily discounted tickets for Juniors for lower profile games a couple of years ago. They’ve had to row back a little bit but Thea Everton ticket prices has shown up the impact of greed. They are an absolute disgrace and we as a fanbase should be hammering these twats, short term thinking and a total disregard for the legacy fans and two fingers up for fans who want to treat their children or grandchildren, they have no idea about our core support, we do NOT have hordes of fans all across the country desperate for tickets, we are not the 'ugly sisters', the day trippers from overseas will drop off if success isn't maintained, you extend the ground and make no effort to make it affordable for local fans, utterly clueless.
It was a difficult match to forget.3 years since a home game on Boxing Day ? I thought it much longer than that as can’t remember it at all ?
When a CEO is on a 7 figure salary, plus bonuses. The club would rather have empty seats than give us cheap tickets. Probably see it as give us an inch and we'll take a mile, so doubt they're going to budge, besides they probably think it's bargain considering they don't live on the same financial planet as the rest of us
It is irritating that a game of football, which you can be attending twice a week, costs the same as a potential once in a lifetime gig/theatre experience
