Juventus (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Pep? Fuck no.

You start by pinpointing anyone who can’t pass, nor run through brick wall.

Throw in the youngsters and buy 3/4 in Jan.

Support the boss through this period and we will be set for 4-5 more season.
Come on mate, I understand we are all going through a grieving period, but please be realistic. Who buys 3/4 in Jan transfer window, who? And most of the players we've been buying recently have been duds. It is only Wednesday, but I need a glass of bourbon!

Danilo… considered not good enough for us and shipped out… How many times did he just ‘take’ the ball off Doku or Bernie? Looked miles better than any of our defenders tonight.

I said in another thread, we looked shot and devoid of any attacking ideas or plan. Our staple under Pep was keep possession and strangle the other team into submission. We can’t even keep possession now, apart from along the back four!

Yet again, Gvardiol is the culprit for the first goal, what was he thinking. For the second, Doku sloppily loses the ball again, they bang it towards the left back position where ‘again’ Rico is not where he should have been and they score; from us having the ball on the edge of their area ffs! This is happening time and time again, and is a big issue for us. The rags have loads of pace and break quickly, Sunday is going to be scary.

Either we are just really unlucky at the moment or our players are burnt out? Either way, it’s sad to see. The way are set up is killing us, our midfield currently isn’t mobile enough and Pep seems as bemused as us fans; but he also needs to take some responsibility. He selected the players and decides the game plan. Nunes coming on at 0-2 for example, why? He needs to get them fired up for Sunday or we will be in trouble, mark my words.

We might not make the playoffs.

I really think that may be the plan ? why keep being in the Champions League is we are not good enough to win it
The bigger picture is the bread and butter in the league right now and getting a top 4 place

We never looked like wanting to win tonight, right from the kick-off it was ok just ghost and get it over with

Lose against the rags and I would expect him to walk.

He's never known anything like this but he knows that it can get even worse. The sad fact is that the players just aren't good enough to play in his system, and there's absolutely nothing he can do about it before January.

Sunday is a must-win for us. Anything else is totally unacceptable.
Loose on Sunday and he will be more determined than ever Pep is not a quitter he’s stubborn that’s for sure

I liked the interview with Gundog. You could see he was devastated but he was brave to come out and talk to the press.
This one with Pep as well.
I don’t like this woman in the studio with Joleon and Wio though. There’s such a smirk on her face.

6 out of 7 league tiles. 4 titles in a row. Champions league winners. Treble winners. Setting record after record.

Then a bad 2 months and people on here have turned on the team, turned on certain players and some have even turned on the manager.
Why you on the post match thread? I'm not having a go just interested in why? You were probably saying it was a bad game, then a couple of bad games. Then 5 bad games then...........

You can do that forever.

In control and then they have an attack and score, again. We are just not solid enough are we.

Looking at the Champions League Table, if we can beat Bruges at home then we should qualify as long as we do not get beat by a lot of goals against PSG!

Stuttgart play PSG at home in the last game, both are currently on 7 points so if both win game 7 (PSG play City) they are on 10 points each with City on 8. If we beat Bruges then we go to 11. Which means that only one of Stuttgart or PSG can beat our 11 total. In Game 8 a draw between Stuttgart and PSG and a win for us against Bruges would put us all on 11 with our superior goal difference getting us through.

Bruges are on 10 points with Juventus at home and then City. So they need points from somewhere.
Celtic have Young Boys at home and Villa away. Probably finish on 12 points?
PSV have Red Star away and Liverpool at home. Probably 2 or 3 points there so 10 or 11?
Dinamo Zagreb are on 8 with Arsenal away and AC Milan at home. Maybe 1 point so 9?

Bottom line we need to beat either PSG or Bruges, but you all knew that!

Yeah, but the problem is we’re in a tough spot. Even if we spend 400 million in the summer, if it’s on the wrong players, we’ll still be stuck here. We need to hit the mark with a real real game changer this time.
True....we could spunk it on more players that are nowhere near the quality that they replaced (Doku, Salvinho, Nunes) granted Nunes is not really a winger, but the other 2 is the biggest drop in quality since Rodwell.

Easy. We are during shit period, but that combines with been unlucky in most of games. Juve away is tough opponent. We gonna get better this season.

Source of our problems is Rodri, we allow too many counter attacks, we lack this additional defensive power and press ressistance. And then Kovacic is out. And Stones is out. Akanji is in and out and Walker is out of form. We have problems mostly at the back, its obvious and it influences overall confidence of whole team.

Im not gonna slandering people within the club, even if we struggle for top4 or something. Certainly not after great success and records this group brought multiple times.

Fuck up

There is absolutely nothing wrong with criticising anyone who merits it and there's not a sinner on that pitch that doesn't deserve it

Nobody is renouncing their support, they're rightfully fucked off and any holier than thou bullshit can fuck off with it

You were flapping during all of the last 4 years.

You've been prediciting City's demise for years. This must be Christmas come early for you.
