I'd go
Ortega
Akanji Simpson-Pusey Dias Gvardiol
Gundogan kev Grealish
Foden Haaland Doku

That's assuming Akanji and Foden are able to play. And kdb and gundogan aren't too shagged, them being old men. Kovacic in somewhere if he's fit too.
At last someone has picked a decent team.

Home form, aside from the annual Spurs cup final, is still pretty good. Expect us to win this, though not necessarily comfortably!

As much as I love and respect Pep, Iam sick and tired of the tippy tappy football we have to endure all the time. It now serves no purpose but to slow the game down to a ridiculously slow pace. Opposition players can get back defending comfortably as we pass backwards and sideways achieving sod all.
Why oh Why do we persist with this stagnant football. It looks to me like we have 8 players attacking and getting so congested. Haaland has no space to operate in whatsoever. He will get fed up soon and ask to leave.

Watching the Juventus game last night was painful. We offered no threat whatsoever and it was painfully obvious to me that we were never going to score and only a matter of time before Juventus score.
This cannot continue any longer. Pep you can’t keep playing this way. We are a team going nowhere and as a supporter since 1967 it really pains me to post this.

We don't have quite the personnel other than Haaland to do anything other than tippy-tappy

Anyone with two brain cells should be able to understand why we play the way we play, given the injuries and the fact that some players have started too many games recently.

Unfortunately, some fans are just brainless.

In your humble opinion. Some of us are not afraid to call it out. If you really enjoyed the game last night then fair dues to you. For me it’s stagnant. I get the injuries situation but this has been happening from early this season. In my humble opinion I don’t enjoy watching it. I am a long term supporter and if you read any of my previous posts they are generally positive.

Amorm's gone full strength for them tonight so they'll get one less recovery day than us and fingers crossed they lose badly tonight as well. Really hoping Foden can get back on it.

Ortega
Akangi
Diaz
Gvardiol
Esbrand
O,Reilly
De Bruyne
Grealish
Doku
Haaland
Nunes

Don’t be frightened to try some youth players.

Dreading this more than usual but you never know!

Ederson
Akanji
Dias
Gvardiol
Lewis
Kovacic
De Bruyne
Bernardo Silva
Foden
Doku
Haaland

An open game doesn't suit us, because too much running up and down the pitch will cause new injuries and increase the fatigue. Why play an open game when the only option we have at 6 is Gundo, 34? Doesn't make sense. Also, this "stagnant" football has allowed us to win two trebles and 4 in a row. Had we been non-stagnant like Liverpool, every other season would be a bad one (for our standards).

Have you noted when the ball on the halfway line is played either over the defenders or through the defenders just how far they have to run helplessly to stop the attack. We are wide open and so I don’t see how we are saving energy allowing teams to catch us out when we are often inside the other teams half. I know it’s to try and suppress the other teams attacking ability, but it’s not working..

We are still way too slow.

New manager bounce for them means this will be tough. Also, Amorim showed he has Guardiola's number in the CL recently when his team owned us.

Anyone at this moment in time would take Hojlund over Haaland, Martinez over Dias, Fernandes over KdB......and yes, Amorim over Guardiola.

Rashford will run riot against our defence and we have to hope they don't start Antony as he'll destroy us. Both would walk into our starting 11 right now.

Take 1-1 right now and move on.
