They might be shit but they got a lot of fast players who are used to kick and run football. That is all you need to create multiple glorious chances against us, It's as simple as being able to run. Amorim knows this first hand now, he'd be absolutely crazy to try and do anything but a super simple Sunday league kick and rush counter plan and it will tear us apart.

I don't see how we don't give them half a dozen massive chances, the only questions is do they take them and it's hard to imagine they wont take most and the other question is how many can we get in return, not sure anybody who has watched us play over the last few minutes would be confident of us outscoring anybody right now, we'd have to actually create multiple chances.

Can't help but feel this could be a really ugly day for us. Is there any storms due? Can we get it called off?

Amorim has the template after dicking us once. Surely pep wont play the same way in this game….You bet your life he will. Its going to be ugly.

Even on current form we’re better than them. Our midfield will be stronger if Kova can play a part and the team will benefit from Rico’s suspension.

I would prefer Walker to sit this one out bit looks like we don't have any other option.

Stones and Ake won't be fit, Rico is suspended.

Unless he goes with Dias, Akanji and Gvardiol as a back three a uses Nunes as the inverted full back role which has been done before. Not ideal really.

I’d play Nunes as a wing back. 3-4-3 / 3-6-1. Create the box midfield with wing backs. Maybe grealish left wb?

I look at young players we’ve got rid of; Palmer, Lavia, Gittens, Frimpong, Tosin, dear god I’ve just seen Olise was with us too.

We let too many go on loan.
Should have kept back one or two of Callum Doyle, Kabore, Yan Couto.
Maybe not up to our standard but would have beefed up the squad numbers.
