we need to stop with the Lewis experiment, he aint helping us. the extra man in midfield is not an advantage in attacks but a disadvantage at the back. no purpose.we cannot have Gundo as the number 6 he cannot run, certainly not without the ball defending quick runners in midfield.

Every opposition team talk. Hit the ball in the space behind City left back. runner to back post as City right back wont be in position. Repeat.

Martinez over Dias...fuck me that's hilarious..the little **** can't jump.. constantly fouls and is slow as fuck.
Antony can't control the ball FFS..he's gash..
Rashford only has pace and yeah that's our kryptonite but he's not exactly a world beater.

drop the defensive line (ie the fullbacks) slightly deeper...stop asking them to sit half way inside the opponents half....
Play anyone in midfield accept Gundo and Rico - our two weakest defensively players that we could possibly put there out of the choices he has....nether can tackle or cover the ground required. Hehas had Nico OReilly sat there for two months.....he has had two months to at least give the lad a go...he is physical and he can tackle and play box to box...yes he is young but he could not do any worse than what we have seen and int he last two months or so it should have been at least tried.
Play Nunes in there - at least he has some legs - again a better option than Gundo as the 6.

Thats 3 other options at least he could have tried as well as playing Grealish in there when he has been back - none.of thosse has been tried and the frustration with fans is that it is blantantly obvious that the Gundo rico experiement is and abject disaster.....

I rarely say this but Id play grealish over either Doku or KDB.....KDB is a liability at present...he cannt run ...now we might just get away with him vs Utd....but maybe not

Despite our current woes, I’d still fancy us against this lot - on a level playing field. You just know these two shithouses along with having their lord and master Webb in their ears for the duration, will conspire to let the rags kick lumps out us unpunished. If there is a sending off, dollars to donuts it will be one of ours for a non event.
Just hope the lads can find something extra, avoid another one of those mistakes and put away a couple of chances early doors.

Yes, I was also there.when we were shit. But back then we weren't one of the richest clubs in the world, with a manager that had world class players at his disposal and Midfielders collecting Balon 'dor honours.

We are so far removed from those days now.

Commenting on the here and now we are absolutely devoid of any idea on how to win a football match.

The manager keeps setting us up with the same formation and personnel that are letting him down week after week.

Yes he's limited with injuries but the team he puts out there should be doing a lot better.

We are wasteful up top, have no creativity in midfield and leak goals like a sieve.

This won't and can't be fixed in the January window.
IMO opinion we will struggle for top 4.

I pray Walker has once last hurrah on Sunday because they will target him as a weak link, if he somehow has a decent game it will go a long way to us taking something

It’s a combination of injuries, loss of form, players who’ve gone on 1 season too long who are also injury prone and a complete loss of confidence.

Both positions can be true. I get we’ve come a long way since losing at home to Wycombe, Bury, Oldham and Stockport but you’ll pardon some of us for not regarding it as a crisis. United, Chelsea, Spurs have been missing out on the Champions League in recent years. None of them have disappeared off the planet. We might miss out on Champions League for a season, we might not. There’s that whole fallacy that players won’t come if you’re not in the Champions League. Seems nobody told Chelsea or United signings.

The opposite position is that we have slapped arse trophy junkie fans who can’t cope with the uncertainty of football. Wouldn’t do if we were all the same would it? I doubt the club will be cancelling any statues because of the season of relative failure.

I watched 20 mins of their game earlier to see what threat they posed and they were absolutely wank in that period.
