It’s all about defenders.

If they are fit he can play 2 in the Rodri role and stop the counters at the half way line.

I think that is what he is waiting for. Or at least kova and either Akanji or stones.

Once those two stay fit and available this will all be a distant dream.

Stones is the main worry here.

A defender and a midfielder is a must in Jan to get back to stable ways.
