United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Tough, because the lack of positioning, poor passing and half-hearted tackling, was spineless at times.
I just think the idea that players at this level wouldn't care in a derby is totally stupid. As fans we've written off the league, but there's no way the players will believe that yet. That team isn't good enough right now and it isn't through lack of application. They're either too old, not fit or not good enough. End of.

All three goals today were down to luck rather than skill really. Big result for amorim as it was a brave call leaving out the two social media show-ponies, but it paid off for him. Sadly, the rags have probably got themselves a decent manager there.
Time will tell mate, but we've give him a leg up today.

Yes it is.

At least Nunes is taking a bit of heat off Walker.

I am so livid, I just hope the staff and the owners and players just as livid. and they ready to make changes because this slump cannot fucking continue. risking the CL places would be awful.

braindead Nunes and then as always conceding in quick succession completely out of the blue.

we were below par, hardly dominated or controlled the game, subs brought no control either, and we llet it slip despite them being awful.

feared that the Juventus game wasnt the rock bottom, and now I am more fearful today isnt the rock bottom yet. Emery and Villa will imo punish us easily next weekend. another loss is likely there. they are much better than these rags and Emery already reviewing all videos from our slump to know where/how to hurt us with speed.
Couldn't give a shit about the CL. I'd take winning the PL any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

I'm sick off playing wingers when all we do is check back . Sorry Pep but it's turgid shite.
But we can't go gung ho against teams as we have to practice the patient build-up routine just in case we come up against Real Madrid or Bayern fucking Munich.

If the game ended at 87 mins, before Nunes lost his head, would this thread be the same? It would have been baby steps with some players on the way back a confidence boost for everyone but no it’s actually worse like Feyenoord
The fact is once again we make unforced errors and get punished We were the better of two shote teams the rags knew it hence why they were so quite Seems to be the same week in week out the only hope is we get players back and spend the money in January
The fact is we are suffering from lack of squad planning every player should have a sell on date we seem to heave too much sentimentality
That is a very very good point. Problem is it fell off a cliff again

There's an idea; finish games while we're leading. If you're reading this Khaldoon, or the big man back in Abu Dhabi, make it happen!

Pep hands are tied right now
5 or 6 players should be benched and somebody else playing but Peps has nobody to turn to and players are playing because nobody else is fit enough, Pep can not go in and roast the players really

We Need Something BIG to happen Good or Bad, Reactions happen in both and we need to clear the air and take the pressure off the Club and Fans, Pep may feel he needs to walk away or the club feel he needs a rest and let him leave

I said after the Juventus game the next 4 league games would be key to everything that happens in the Jan window
We need to be still in the race for a top 4 place and then our season could be saved, But after today I feel where is our next win coming from and Villa away we could be 8th or 9th

Pep is far too good of a manager to be letting this happen, in fact, does he want the sack because he knows the only way he leaves is if he can not do any more to improve this squad and gets the sack

They are all those things and clearly on the wane - but should gave been good enough and experienced enough to see that out.
Manager didn't help things when needed also.

Pep made 2 subs, Kovacic, Grealish but imo these did not give us anything. brought next to nothing extra control. we didnt control the game before the subs, neither after. this was the main issue we could dominate this game, Gundo KDb, Foden were not able to control the midfield. we lost the ball a lot, quite a few bad passes, and it was a very poor rags team. you would see even likes of Brentford to dominate better vs an opponent like this.
So what exactly did Jack and Kova do wrong? The blame is on Nunes although up to then he had a decent game at LB

No idea as not seen the goals after returning from match who was marking Diallo for the 2nd

No matter how bad it may feel.

We will all be here tomorrow. That’s all that matters.

The list of issues is endless. Supporting city is more than a defeat against the rags who by the way are crap.

Chin up and let’s see how we get on next week.

Pep needs to get on the pitch with them and figure out why we are so disjointed in all aspects. No point crying about what we are missing but get into a mind of thought as to how we can stop getting beaten.

Huge shake up needed.

Agreed!
This has to be a write off season for us and a preparation to be back to our best nest season! But a bit of passion and determination wouldn't go amiss in a derby!!

Anyone else see it kick off in VERBALLY With a Ragess?
She decided to Punch the air wildly when Goofy Scored his Penalty
She got marched out

Has anyone seen Eddie long ball it as much as today ? Tells you the lack of confidence the defence has at the moment. Problem was it was meat and gravy to the likes of DeLigt, Martinez and slabhead, the latter of which has just taken Erl out of his pocket.
