I'm 4 episodes in but actually like Sarah Lancashire in thisSlogged my way through season 2 of the old man. Pretty dull to be honest.
Black Doves on Netflix was decent. The main plot was confused and its hard to feel sympathy for Knightly's character as a spy for hire and someone cheating on her husband who seems thoroughly decent. Tonally it is a bit all over the place and the central relationship between Wishaw and Knightly is under developed - the bond between them is never quite nailed. Ben Wishaw is pretty good and the scenes with him and the other female assassins are quite fun.
Sarah Lancashire is doing a bad Dame Judi Dench as M impression.
Struggling with season 2 to be honestfor those who watch Silo it's been renewed for season 3 and 4

Watched The Pirate Bay docu-drama. Worth a watch if you like that kind of thing. It's a Swedish series with subtitles which don't translate what appears on screens or in newspaper's so you do miss a little but not that much overall. Doesn't go too deeply into the inner workings as it's more about what happened around it upto and including the trial.

Slow horses.
Didn't know what to make of it at first, took time to get into it but just finished season 3 and it's brilliant. The dry humour and character development is superb.

It's been getting surprisingly positive reviews from the modern star wars is bad crew on YouTube. I gave up on the acolyte and barely made it through Obi Wan.
I've honestly no ida what you will make of Skeleton Crew but I am really enjoying it. Definitely has that Goonies in space vibe, plus nods to Spielberg.

Just for balance I thought Lashana Lynch was fine in her role.Is it worth sticking with? I got about 6 in and couldn’t take any more of the lead woman’s acting. It was absolutely terrible.
Excellent series and hopefully a second to follow.
Does remind me of the Bourne films at times.

Scary stuff about the nuclear arms race and cold war.

Is it worth sticking with? I got about 6 in and couldn’t take any more of the lead woman’s acting. It was absolutely terrible.
The worst bit for me is the song in the opening credits, whilst it sounds better on the TV, it just reminds me of the live version I heard watching Graham Norton a few weeks ago and it was like a screeching cat performing. I have to fast forward that part!
Not a huge fan of the actress either, not sure if you are supposed to like her character or not, but I didn't.
