PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

No-one knows anything apart from maybe the lawyers who will have an inkling from how the hearing has gone. The players certainly don't have a clue, if they did so would all their agents and the press.

If there is a any credence to the 40 point thing (which I doubt) it would be unlikely to come into effect until next season at the earliest due to the time it takes to appeal by which time due to the return of Rodri and some other signings we will be in a much better position to withstand it without any huge impact (maybe a season out of Europe). Ironically we will be probably be left with effectively the same sanction as UEFA imposed on us in 2020.

These were numbered and clipped together and instructions to Lord P that those pointed IOUs would be totalled and would be deducted from the weekly total cash from genuine bills.

Seemingly Lord P had a whip round but still needs a few petrol bills etc to get the Petty Cash tin functioning again as a source of ready cash.

A simple misunderstanding that took up the first address by Lord P on that Monday return.

When I was deciding which team to support I carefully read their various accounts, calculated the relevant financial ratios, checked their adherence to accounting standards and shortlisted three. I then enquired about their month end ledger closure process, their attitude to P&L and balance sheet journalling and how they did their accruals.

Based on that, I picked City. I'll be most disappointed if they've let me down

As you say know one knows anything other than those directly involved in proceedings, namely the lawyers. From their experience and what the PL have presented they'll have a very good idea of the outcome.

You didn’t factor in possible, totally unforeseen new rules put in place by competitors.

Big mistake.
 
The thing that sticks in my mind the most is Khaldoon in his 2023 end-of-season interview with Chris Bailey:

"When we're done, we'll have a conversation. I'll give you my very blunt views."​

That is a man who is in complete control, who knows what this is really all about, and who is seething inside.

We love the club & who we are!
I also trust the owners, & if we are found guilty, which imo I don't think we will be,
Then it is what it is, we deal with it & carry on supporting the club, as always through thick & thin,
The poster who asked the question surely isn't a City supporter if he can switch if things go wrong,
Was probably a rag when they once dominated lol

Listening to two women and a bloke all Scottish rangers fans.
Heard them say .
There's 115 charges.
So they must be guilty of 10 at worst?.
So do like happened to rangers.
If I wasn't with the misses I'd be up by now
