No sports media for me until Boxing day. And that will depend on the Everton result.
Same here.No sports media for me until Boxing day. And that will depend on the Everton result.
Probably until the 11th January - although not overly confident about that.No sports media for me until Boxing day. And that will depend on the Everton result.
Love how much of the media has invented the narrative that our bad run is just because Rodri is out, failing to recognise our mass injury list outside of Rodri
That site is simply a rag and dipper fanzine![]()
Guardiola sack now a kindness as Man City boss loses dressing room ahead of downing tools vs Aston Villa
If this was a team playing under any other manager there would be accusations of downing tools and lost dressing rooms. Man City should put Guardiola out of his misery.www.football365.com
This is so absolutely true! 10mins of trying to get to the headline after getting past paragraphs of nothing related to the headline and advert dodging. Sometimes after reading the whole article the headline doesn’t even relate to anything in the article! What is this latest shit that every media outlet is now doing. They print about five paragraphs of absolute shite before they get to the main headline. It does my fucking head in!
Like you and every other Blue, I've been tearing out (what's left of!) my hair since we've been on this dreadful run.. but I must say that there HAS been an upside to it all, in that I no longer have to use my magnifying glass to find articles about City in our sports media! Let me explain. The 4 top articles in the Daily United are about Pep and City. Lol!
I wonder why?
There were a good few negative ones which, when yer were winning all before you, just amounted to a heap of envious bile. Now, there's a little bit of glee in the Year 3 scribblings. I even saw a league table the other day which was based on current form. Wouldn't have appeared had we not been in it. We're slightly better off than Wolves 'n some other club I think.Like you and every other Blue, I've been tearing out (what's left of!) my hair since we've been on this dreadful run.. but I must say that there HAS been an upside to it all, in that I no longer have to use my magnifying glass to find articles about City in our sports media! When we were sweeping all before us, winning cups and titles 'like the Assyrian coming down on the fold' (as Lord 'This City is ours..' Byron put it), I had to resort to such extreme measures as the magnifying glass in order to find updates* on my precious Blues. It used to be so difficult to find ANYTHING written about us.. why, sometimes you wouldn't even think we were playing that day, such was the sparsely hidden nature of reports on us!
But now, thanks to Pep and the Boys, all is changed and I can read* a plethora of news and bad tidings about us on every conceivable sports news platforms, day in, day out, thus consigning my magnifying glass to the top drawer of the chest of drawers and therefore reducing my problem with eye strain!
Every cloud has a silver lining, what?!
(* Disclaimer - let me emphasise, I NEVER read what those venal, tribal twunts in the client media say about our club!)
Except we don't have an injury list that is spectacular if you rule out Rodri. It is an issue I suppose because we have a small squad. Our main problem is too many people on the wrong side of the hill and poor recruitment. Also a manager who appears caught in the headlights and increasingly clueless in the face of adversity.Love how much of the media has invented the narrative that our bad run is just because Rodri is out, failing to recognise our mass injury list outside of Rodri

Post of the day. Just wish many others would follow. Whateverwe do it will NEVER be accepted by the majority. Just accept it. Life will be so much more pleasurable.I, simply, don't click on articles about City, positive or negative, anymore.
When I did, I found for every leading City positive, there was a caveat article for balance. For every negative article, there wasn't the same counterbalance, so I don't bother with it.
I'm much happier that way.
Usual uneducated irrelevant response from you.Usual bollocks from you.
Disagree on the "we don't have an injury list that is spectacular if you rule out Rodri". We've had most of our key players either out or playing but not 100% for much of the past 2 or 3 months. They keep writing dogshit articles on our club, I keep bypassing them online.A bloke called Will Ford, apparently.
We have suffered extended injuries to Stones, Akanji, Ake, Rodri, KDB, Dias. The entire defence. No team could deal with that. We have still made poor recruitment decisions but that doesn't mask the injury crisis.Disagree on the "we don't have an injury list that is spectacular if you rule out Rodri".
