What is this latest shit that every media outlet is now doing. They print about five paragraphs of absolute shite before they get to the main headline. It does my fucking head in!
This is so absolutely true! 10mins of trying to get to the headline after getting past paragraphs of nothing related to the headline and advert dodging. Sometimes after reading the whole article the headline doesn’t even relate to anything in the article!

The other part of journalism that does my head in are the articles that pretend to write from an educated and neutral viewpoint which you know can tell from reading are so biased towards the media outlet or writers favourite football team.

Are the pyranhas feeding again????

Listen I was angry after that yesterday. When I got home however the anger had subsided.
I literally know many will be reading lots of negative stories today etc. Do yourself a favour. Don't. All it will do is control your emotion.
You dont need to fuck tard hack to do that.
Be mad at city, be mad at the performance. They are factual things that happened. Dont be mad at lies. We can't control the written, spoken media and having read the last 5 pages on here they are clearly making lots of blues angry. I listened to smooth all the way up the m6. Chill everyone. What we are witnessing is a moment where other clubs fans and hacks celebrate our so called downfall. Let them have there elation as it wont last much longer.
All it proves to me is that we have really really hurt them.

The 4 top articles in the Daily United are about Pep and City. Lol!

I wonder why?
Like you and every other Blue, I've been tearing out (what's left of!) my hair since we've been on this dreadful run.. but I must say that there HAS been an upside to it all, in that I no longer have to use my magnifying glass to find articles about City in our sports media! Let me explain.

When we were sweeping all before us, winning cups and titles 'like the Assyrian coming down on the fold' (as Lord 'This City is ours..' Byron put it), I had to resort to such extreme measures as the magnifying glass in order to find updates* on my precious Blues. It used to be so difficult to find ANYTHING written about us.. why, sometimes you wouldn't even think we were playing that day, such was the sparsely hidden nature of reports on us!

But now, thanks to Pep and the Boys, all is changed and I can read* a plethora of news and bad tidings about us on every conceivable sports news platform, day in, day out, thus consigning my magnifying glass to the top drawer of the chest of drawers and therefore reducing my problem with eye strain!

Every cloud has a silver lining, what?!

(* Disclaimer - let me emphasise, I NEVER read what those venal, tribal twunts in the client media say about our club!)

There were a good few negative ones which, when yer were winning all before you, just amounted to a heap of envious bile. Now, there's a little bit of glee in the Year 3 scribblings. I even saw a league table the other day which was based on current form. Wouldn't have appeared had we not been in it. We're slightly better off than Wolves 'n some other club I think.

Love how much of the media has invented the narrative that our bad run is just because Rodri is out, failing to recognise our mass injury list outside of Rodri
Except we don't have an injury list that is spectacular if you rule out Rodri. It is an issue I suppose because we have a small squad. Our main problem is too many people on the wrong side of the hill and poor recruitment. Also a manager who appears caught in the headlights and increasingly clueless in the face of adversity.

Usual bollocks from you.

I, simply, don't click on articles about City, positive or negative, anymore.

When I did, I found for every leading City positive, there was a caveat article for balance. For every negative article, there wasn't the same counterbalance, so I don't bother with it.

I'm much happier that way.
Post of the day. Just wish many others would follow. Whateverwe do it will NEVER be accepted by the majority. Just accept it. Life will be so much more pleasurable.
WE aren't little city from league 1 anymore.
We aren't everyones favourite 2nd club anymore.
We are hated. I feed off the hatred with a warm glow knowing we have hurt them.
We are perenial winners and people/hacks hate winners.

A burnley fan messaged me this morning.
'Worst ever defense of a league by a premier league champion'....I didn't reply however the irony of that message did make me chuckle. 'Champions'...not only champions but 4 time on the spin champions'..

They choose to ignore the achievements and focus on the negativity. Thats what happens in life and the prime offenders are the media.

As I have said before. RELEGATE US. My love for my team will only grow stronger

Disagree on the "we don't have an injury list that is spectacular if you rule out Rodri". We've had most of our key players either out or playing but not 100% for much of the past 2 or 3 months. Not many teams, if any, could deal with that

We have suffered extended injuries to Stones, Akanji, Ake, Rodri, KDB, Dias. The entire defence. No team could deal with that. We have still made poor recruitment decisions but that doesn't mask the injury crisis.

The injury crisis is largely why the wheels have come off so spectacularly but a huge contributor to our injury crisis is poor recruitment. We must have been aware of Stones and Ake’s injury issues and Walker slowing down but we didn’t bring anyone in. Our midfield was ageing and injury prone but we didn’t really bring anyone to cover bar Gundogan.
