Getting any player from a basque club is always extremely difficult even if they have a release clause.

Defensive reinforcements are more important now than offensive, so we can wait to get Baena and Williams.

But more urgently id like these 2 quick fast CBs and Baleba for some defensive steel.

Would hope that with the Zubimendi/Bruno G news that we are far progressed with other signings. Whatever moves we make need to be done straight away, with a big CL game against PSG on the horizon and the need to get out of our slump.

can get a few more lads in if they dont have to take in the CL rules and bounce out early. 4Dchess. lol

Pep's comment recently about wanting to keep him out the limelight during a bad run and it being detrimental to a youngster's confidence was as lazy as anything I've heard from him in years.

McAtee spent last season fighting relegation and Pep has also overplayed Lewis while also throwing Simpson-Pusey in at the deep end a few times too.

Maybe Pep just doesn't fancy McAtee? Although I find it hard to believe after the gushing praise he had for him at the start of the season.

Bewildered he's not had more minutes.

He is currently injured which makes any move impossible in January and Real Madrid have got their stamp on this.

He is not good enough. That probably why he ain’t getting minutes.

Shame as I thought we no genuine attacking elements to this team he would thrive.
