May not be a regular going forwards but for squad depth he is and there is still time to find a solution to his injuries.

Sadly that’s not going to happen mate. Stones has been injury prone his entire career and now he’s getting on a bit it’s going to get worse not better.

He’s been a proud servant to the club and one of my favourite Pep era players but it is time to say goodbye.

Now that is bollocks, you think we have not tried in the 7 years he's been here?
Ledley King is a recent example of working with players who have had major injury concerns. Same with Vincent Kompany.

We allowed Vinceny Kompany to see out his contract. I don't see an issue with John Stones either. Face it we aren't going to cut many of the seniors in one transfer window.

How've you worked that out?

First paragraph is obviously true. Unless you're suggesting he's being forced against his will to play certain players.

Second paragraph pep has said himself he's been playing players who aren't fully fit, those same players have picked up reoccuring injuries.

Last paragraph is proveable if you can count upto a maximum of 25 and have reading and comprehension skills above that of a toddler.

So which bit is bollocks and why?
He cannot play fit players he doesnt have , they are all injured or carrying knocks. He cannot play the eds squad . Not difficult is it. You knock pep and the players with every post , have a fucking day off

King & the biggest and greatest one Paul Mcgrath.

mcgrath never trained, was constantly pissed but my word he was available considerably more than Stones and was a hell of a player.

Don't get this loyalty nonsense, every player has a shelf life at a club, then they move on, Stones will rightly be remembered as a top player and a lovely fella, but his time is over and a new star will come along, that's football.

Are you more a fan of players or a supporter of Manchester City?

Stones is just as good.

Are you on the sherry?

Never said he wasn't, Stones at his best and fitest was one of the best CB's in Europe but he simply is a walking sick note.

We can't afford passengers and this club has a bus full at this time and they are on huge contracts.

Stottie cake Eddie, you now how good that stuff is washed down with a bottle of Newkie brown, away the lads

Eddie Howe: I've never drunk Newcastle Brown Ale

Spurs had carried King to the rest of his career and he wasn't on peanuts either. Again no reason why we can't do the same with Johnny Boulders (sic).

He played far more than Johnny and unlike Johnny he did not need 6 games to get back up to speed.

That's Stone's issue, getting back up to speed and why Ake may stay in front of Stones.

Ake misses games but comes back in and get back on it immediately.

King couldn't train.
