Jack Grealish | Set to join Everton on season-long loan

Newcastle wont happen they have their ffp problems and have to prioritize other positions first. Spurs interest is real. They asked genuinely last summer and came back again. Grealish was pushing a move out for game time to fight for England place. He did not push hard because Lee Carsely would always pick him. Now with the new manager things are different. He wants to play in the middle with someone holds the width . Pep made it clear it won't happen. So he has to move. Plain simple and straightforward deal.

If Pep isn't willing to play Grealish then what is the point of keeping him. In another thread a poster mentioned that Grealish has challenged Pep (not a clue what this means and I doubt we will find out), however for some reason Jack has been very poor apart from one game this season.
"Very poor" performances got him into the man of the month award candidates of September. We must be very poor then. Also part of the reason why we did not get beaten by Arsenal.

But yeah that explains why he has to move on. The sooner the better.

If that's the case, then so be it. It's just ridiculous that this thread is rampant with speculation and flinging shit at a player who still plays for the club.

He's not played well and been in and out of the squad with injury, but who in the club has actually been anything other than decent at best. Let's at least be consistent with criticism because there are plenty others who play week in week out who are poor.
The rest of the players won the fourth title, he didnt contribute last summer or this , the others are trying but have hit a wall , he should be fresher than them

Just got to love these posts - has as much credibility as Rashford has as a star player.

Good job I don't believe a word of your post, nor care as attention seekers are 10 a penny on here .

Its been going round since the birth of his kid. I'll say this, I know two people who have mentioned this - one from the media side and one from the actual staff side and they both disagree with each other in terms of whether it's a problem or not. And Pep has given them more time off recently so I don't find it far fetched that he'd be out over the Xmas period when he's allowed to be

That’s the reason him and Walker were left out against Everton, both out on the piss until, the early hours.
It was reported Walker spent the Christmas night with his kids and family. Grealish posted photos with his newborn hours before the game.

I found it very difficult to believe they trained on Christmas Day - then spent the evening with kids then found somewhere open on Christmas night to get pissed.

Really?

They were all given a couple of days off prior to Xmas after the Villa game.

Yes and then Walker did club interviews and Grealish did training after the break with photos posted by City PR.

If they did get so pissed that pep threw them out of the team I don't think they would do interviews and trainings as normal.

Similar accusation was made weeks ago on bluemoon and even said they both would not play another minute under pep. No long after that Walker began to start. So I thought we had move on from those baseless accusations.

He must be getting big bucks, I cant se him getting that anywhere else, might be hard to shift, and I definitely dont se it this winter at least.
Porro or Livramento swap sound like a good idea though, cant see it though. Ive always liked Porro even when everyone complained about him.

Anyway according to sources from Spurs it will be a straight loan move. But you know it is Spurs so don't expect too much.

He goes nowhere high wages ver high wages which no club can justify and won’t get much fees either.

High wages aren't really that much of a deterrent in this day and age. I think when we move Jack, we'll still get at least £50m for him and some team will give him a similar pay packet to what he gets at City. He is still very much a big name player even if it isn't working well at the moment.

Who is this everyone who complained about Porro.

Miss Marple?

Would love for you to be right but i think you're living in a dream world pal. We likely won't get a penny for Grealish, at best, its a heavily reduced nominal fee to help offset the loss we will have to take on him. He will have to take a hefty hit on his wages at another club for them to be interested, he's not going to do that and so the only solution is for us to cover it which will result in us pretty much waving any potential fee just to get rid.

Havertz was a total flop that Chelsea were desperate to move and they got £65m for him and he is still on over £275k a week. We know Spurs are interested already but I'd expect Villa, Newcastle, etc. to also want him and they have money to spend. If Everton stay up again, they'd probably also love to have him. West Ham is also a club not afraid to splash some cash and he seems like a fit there. There is a lot of money to go around now and if/when City decide to move him on, I don't think it will be difficult to find a suitor.
