do we have any connections from Italy? They have plenty of good value players but need strong connections to persuade them to consider a move

Think of it this way Dax.

He should be relatively cheap and not impede the arrival of a future RB prospect anyways.

I think the club are realizing we lack numbers of the other teams and are trying to rectify by saving where we can.

Its a smart transfer strategy. For example I wouldnt spend 250m on 5 players for 50m, when instead its better to get 3 players for 70m (higher quality) and 2 more cheaper for 40m.

I suppose im just being a douche. I have the guys I want and don't like interests that would preclude them :)

All the best defenders in Italy are all at Inter Milan, which City should already know after the CL Final and the CL game at The Ethiad Stadium this year.

De Marco - LB
Dumfries - RB
Bastoni - CH

Any of which would improve us in the short and long term.

Bastoni for me, but will not be cheap!!!

De Marco and Dumfries are wingbacks.

They wouldnt fit with us.

Bastoni would be amazing but im surprised you didnt say Bisseck.

Hes been a revelation recently, and would kill it for us.
 
Still wouldn't mind Frimpong but the Khusanov signing could be the way forward as a RB.

Wingbacks or LB’s or RB’s

Because at the moment, we don’t seem to be doing anything to improve or change things??!!

Too many injuries and too old ???

Make Nunes a RB. Sign Robinson & either a new CB prospect to develop or bring Doyle into the fold to add to the below.

LB - Robinson Gvardiol
LCB - Gvardiol Ake
RCB - Dias Akanji
RB - Nunes Akanji

Stones, as much as I love him, isn't reliable enough. Especially for his wages. Either he stays in a reduced role/wage or he goes. Lewis can pick up minutes around the above.

Nunes has pace, can cross and as soon as he gets that pass back to the keeper sorted, will be better than Walker.
