I'm glad that Pep watched the same match as I did this week.

It was fairly predictable that once a few wins on board he would be more honest. He does that all the time, never lays in when team losing. Ever.

I’m happy to be a happy clapper and to be behind the team. I can see, when I’m at the games, that we need improvement in certain areas but I am here to give support and if that makes me a pariah in your eyes so be it.

I feel we just have to accept the wins for what they are at the moment, despite how we play. We are in a battle for form and confidence, and if we can string a few together it will build.

Not sure that Leicester should've won. They weren't better and I thought the game was pretty even and we took our chances. Same today

We have played better in this recent run and lost. But we are taking our chances and not making as many mistakes. But we are far from being back.

Midfield remains a huge concern

I think we did make a lot of mistakes today but were just not punished.

We were very sloppy today.

Saying that there were some good moments too and we deserved to win for me but it’s a hard watch at times.

We can all see the problems and yet at the same time we can be happy for a 4-1 home win. How many times have we dominated teams in previous seasons only to miss loads of chances and drop points ?

I never said I wasn’t happy. Is Pep happy? If we dominated the match, made no mistakes, played like we can play, kept a clean sheet, and won 1-0, I’d be happier. The final result is masking numerous issues, and Pep called them out. If Pep isn’t happy with the performance, why should the fans be with the performance? The 4-1 win was very flattering to City.

It seems to be mostly a mental issue. The players are doubting themselves and slowing their thought processes down and then making poor passes.

The second goal was a thing of unbelievable beauty. The move, KDB and Foden to Savinho was a wonderful pattern of play and it sparked a better period for us. Savinho’s assist as sublime too. Probably in my top 10 favourite ever.

Then, second half, we started off really well and pressed really well. Went 4 up and then the changes…

Hopefully this gives Pep the extra nudge, if he needs it, to buy some sort of right back cover as Walker’s head had gone as well as his pace.

Same with Ilkay too sadly.

Good signs though from Foden, Haaland and Savinho. Thought Rico did fine too.

2 more wins and we hit the magical 40 point mark and safety. Charges permitting!

Savio and erling link up is great.

That’s it tho. The rest was piss poor and of very low standard.

We don’t pass easily, we gave the ball away and we have no legs to recover.

As pep said, we have never been a transition team but we used to keep the ball for fun and have teams tied up in knots.

So much work to do. This is not the city we know.

A win is a win and that is all that matters today.

Problems? We have a lot.

Early signings would be great.

Just watched peps conference,and fair play to him hes honest an said he wasent happy with performance,
I come out of etihad happy we won,but just had that feelin if was a half decent team no way we dont get punnished,we was spot on upfront today which is a huge huge positive,savinio was class,foden haaland great which is a big pluss,it is the midfield the gaps are huge,it was easy for pacuetta to pop balls about an yess west ham were lets get it right shockin in front of goal,
I do belive we will get this right in this transfer window we have too,failin that i honestly belive sum of younger kids wud fo better job in middle for sure ,its just puttin too much pressure on defence,pep knows all this,he will sort it i am sure!!

I'm not sure if it is true but any fan giving stick to our record breaking players like KDB at the game and/or getting into a spat with them needs a slap. They've been magnificent for us over the years and put their bodies on the line countless times. We can all see sadly their legs have gone now but show them some respect, it's not their fault the club failed to foresee this happening.

That victory came via a deflected own goal, a defensive mix up and just 2 good pieces of play. The side that lost had twice as many attempts! In short, we were more than a bit fortunate.

Our inability to retain possession, coupled with a ponderous midfield, and a defence that has no shape nor knowhow, managed to ensure that even at 4-1, the game was still not safe! I cannot recall football this dull since Pearce was here.

Other than the 2 Savinho interventions, the game was turgid. There just isn't anything there anymore.
