Can’t think of one half decent reason to shoehorn Walker and Gundogan on. Give Gundo’s minutes to a young player who’ll add energy and desire for the final minutes. As for Walker. He’s been a wonderful serve t but nearly always awful when not playing at full throttle. A half arsed Walker coming on at 4 up only to shut everyone else around is just bizarre. Give those minutes to Pusey.

There’s were shoots of recovery today, more energy going forward, looked dangerous in transition and generally a bit more e energy.

Apparently if we play someone decent we’ll get thrashed. Well we have played plenty of decent teams and only Spuds racked up a big score.

The storm appears to have been weathered. As long as we get CL qualification that’s all that matters as far as league is concerned.

Great result and nice goals scored by players that needed them

Would've like Haaland to get hat trick but he took a battering as usual so wise to take him off.

Savinho great going forward and fabulous play and ball for Haaland but, we were completely exposed down that side and Wham probably should have scored first half.

Not saying if was his fault but it's what you look at.

Fucking annoyed about those 5 points tossed away at home recently to dross, probably a few more too tbh. We could be right amongst it.

Delighted with the result, scoreline absolutely does not tell the full story here though. They were miles the better side from start until the second goal, once that went in their heads had gone.

We had a lot of luck on our side both with the first goal and us getting away with stuff/ them not taking advantage, combined with a few great individual performances, that's what got us that win. The glaring problems were still on full display and show no signs of being fixed.

Nice to see a few players actually stepping up, I suspect we will be relying on individual performances more than ever for the remainder of the season. there's positives to take but anybody trying to convince themselves the corner has been turned hasn't been watching very closely.

See what happens when we play with a winger who can go outside on to his strong foot, we've been crying put for that for so long now, delighted to see it and it paying off surely means Pep cannot ignore it going forward, supply haaland and he scores.

we aint rags my friend

Not looking at anything beyond this game so more than happy with 4-1. Game was over when Savinho and Haaland went off as was our attacking threat. We can debate the wisdom of the subs and their timing all night but right now points are what we need. Hopefully Phil gains confidence from the goal. Savinho our best player and Haaland much more involved and with 2 well taken goals.
I think Pep was keen to have as many players as possible celebrating the win...Good for team morale

Agreed The drop off from flying at 4-0 to subs coming on was scary

Happy with the three points, always good to see us score a few goals. The second was a thing of beauty. A great cross field ball from Foden to Savinho followed by an even better cross from Savinho to Haaland.
We still looked shaky at the back, thankfully they didn't put any of their chances away and they did have a few. It would have been nice to keep a clean sheet for the second week running but it wasn't to be.
Another week off, hopefully allow a good recovery.

Hmmm, now that is an aspect I hadn't considered for Gundo (Walker came on against Leicester). Nunes could have done with that as well

A funny game, that scoreline really flatters us to be fair but I am buzzing we got another win and scored for while doing so.

Delighted with top performances from Savinho and Erling and Kovacic was decent. Phil was crap first half but did well 2nd half.

The midfield are not providing any cover for the defence and the defence are at sea just waiting for teams to capitalise on the abundance of mistakes and lapses in concentration.

Back to winning ways! A decent transfer window and some injury returns then there’s no reason why we can’t get at least second place and another cup.

Come on City!!
