You should be on Sky.some people just don't get it ?
The result was hard earned and we had to dig in at times that's football
I’d hope so. He was dreadfulPep surely must have seen enough of Walker now to realise that he simply can’t play him again this season.
we aint rags my friendDelighted with the result, scoreline absolutely does not tell the full story here though. They were miles the better side from start until the second goal, once that went in their heads had gone.
We had a lot of luck on our side both with the first goal and us getting away with stuff/ them not taking advantage, combined with a few great individual performances, that's what got us that win. The glaring problems were still on full display and show no signs of being fixed.
Nice to see a few players actually stepping up, I suspect we will be relying on individual performances more than ever for the remainder of the season. there's positives to take but anybody trying to convince themselves the corner has been turned hasn't been watching very closely.
It's amazing more is not made of this. Yes Walker is having a mare and a few of the defenders have their own struggles, but it's being piled on them over and over and over by a zero existent central midfield.
I think Pep was keen to have as many players as possible celebrating the win...Good for team moraleNot looking at anything beyond this game so more than happy with 4-1. Game was over when Savinho and Haaland went off as was our attacking threat. We can debate the wisdom of the subs and their timing all night but right now points are what we need. Hopefully Phil gains confidence from the goal. Savinho our best player and Haaland much more involved and with 2 well taken goals.
Agreed The drop off from flying at 4-0 to subs coming on was scaryCan’t think of one half decent reason to shoehorn Walker and Gundogan on. Give Gundo’s minutes to a young player who’ll add energy and desire for the final minutes. As for Walker. He’s been a wonderful serve t but nearly always awful when not playing at full throttle. A half arsed Walker coming on at 4 up only to shut everyone else around is just bizarre. Give those minutes to Pusey.
There’s were shoots of recovery today, more energy going forward, looked dangerous in transition and generally a bit more e energy.
Hmmm, now that is an aspect I hadn't considered for Gundo (Walker came on against Leicester). Nunes could have done with that as wellI think Pep was keen to have as many players as possible celebrating the win...Good for team morale
