West Ham (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

You keep asking this. You tell us what was said - then we can all discuss it. I doubt KDB would have reacted like he did if it wasn’t called for.
Not sure if you’re simple or not, so I’ll put it clearly.

I DON’T KNOW WHAT WAS SAID SO I WOULDNT START HAVING A GO AT FELLOW FANS WITHOUT THE FACTS.

To one person “come on Kyle put some effort in” might be abuse. To a lot that isn’t.

Hope that’s clear and you can get on with your Sunday now.

Because I don’t know what was said haha - hence why I wouldn’t start condemning fans yet.

What a weird response.
Look back at your first comment when you suggested what was said in support of your “right to call out players”
You are being challenged by supporters who appreciate what the players have done for the last 6-7 years and who don’t then think they can turn on players because they are not as good as they were last year but are still trying.
You’ve got a short memory - but you obviously have no loyalty to players - just like to say you’re a city fan.

If that’s how you read it then that’s on you mate. I didn’t bring up abuse, that was another fan.

I wouldn’t start condemning City fans until I know what was said - that was my point.

If Pep screams at Kyle - “put more effort in!!” Is he “abusing” him?
I can't be arsed m8. You're on one and it's Sunday morning.

No - but has he ever done that. Maybe he relies on “fans” to do it for him.

Those 3 midfielders, along with Livramento, Gordon and Isak, would walk into our starting XI.

Imagine what Pep would do with that Newcastle side, most of their players would walk into our team currently. Sad state of affairs.
But would all those players have been worthwhile additions to our squad when we were at our best?

Just watching MOTD and the analysis of Newcastle’s midfield, everything we are missing. 3 midfielders dominating the central area, up and down the pitch all close together working in tandem.
I saw that as well. Im still pissed off with Pep bringing on Gundo and Walker.
That killed our game, we went to pieces and had West Ham been able to bury their chances we could have ended up with another Feyanord.
Why will he not play Mcatee ? or any youngster for that matter.

You obviously love being abusive to people. Accordingly this is my last reply to you.
I think you are deliberately ignoring why this issue was raised. It was because KDB - who is used to listening to idiots - felt it necessary to call out a fan for what they said to Kyle.

Time to move on, we are not winning anything with this version of KDB.
Or the versions we have now of Bernado,Phil,Jack,John,Jeremy,Manuel and Eddie as well.
Team game. Not at his best but there is a lot wrong throughout the team than just Kev and Kyle.

Tbf you should be able to bring on experienced professionals at 4-0 to wind the clock down
But no one could predict how off it they both were
And yes if they had got a second a Feynoord was on the cards
Our structure had completely evaporated
It’s time for a big thank you to few and we go again

Not all of them, no. Absolutely not.

But that’s the cautionary tale - by standing still and letting our world class players age to the point where a few of them can’t actually run, we’ve arrived at a point where several Newcastle players would walk into the current side.

Good win that, only tainted slightly by us conceding the usual goal towards the end ...... I thought Savinho was excellent, and Haaland was much more involved in the game that he has been recently ..... you aren't gonna see a better cross or header all season that those that came together for Citys 2nd goal .... the high ball in was quite superb, it just split West Ham wide open .. as was Haalands anticipation and movement in reaching it.

Another really good move between the two players in the 2nd half then provided City with an excellent third goal too ....

Can't argue with a 4-1 win though, so , for now at least, we now seem to be heading in the right direction.
Delighted we won but we ain’t moving in the right direction with that performance. Could easily have been two down in the first few minutes, only a bizarre ref decision stopped them having a one on one . They cut through us with such ease it was embarrassing at times .
The willingness of the forward and wide players to run back was non existent.

What was said? I prefer not to dig out my own fans that will be here long after Kyle Walker, before actually knowing the facts.

If you can provide what the “abuse” was and then we can discuss it.
I was sat nearby in 105. The lad shouted something along the lines of, ‘Oi Walker you ****, don’t moan at McAtee that was your fucking fault, you prick… the pass was shit you ****… you’ve been shit for months… driving up and down the country to see all your kids instead of concreting on football, fuck off, you prick’.

A few around him shouted, ‘woah woah’ ‘eyar pack it in mate’.

De Bruyne shouted, ‘oh, stop, oh’.

Walker didn’t react.

A bit like some of the things he did in his first season with us, I think Pep made a point to the men above him there.

Any City fan who has been watching us this season would know Walker and Gundo have been off it all season.

Nothing good was ever going to come about when they came on.
