And you think farage isn't?Our politicians are all pissing in the same pot, that's why I voted reform in the last election.
Wake up sheeple........

Ostriches with their heads in the sand springs to mind, let's just carry on with the same two political parties who have run the country into the ground over decades.
I don't think that it's because Reform will actually do anything good because we all know that they won't. However, such a result will give the two utterly useless mainstream parties the kicking that they deserve which is what people really want. The main parties literally treat us with nothing other than contempt. We've had 14 years of Tories; Labour have come in and completely changed certain policies and going in a totally different direction to them - so they're not the same at all.
What makes you think Reform can do any better ? they're led by a guy who instigated Brexit which has been nothing but a disaster and there only policy is to 'stop the boats' even then without a clear answer to how they will do this - Plus the fact they attract the racist and thickest in society.
Can I ask what those questions are? Is it immigration, economy, social contract, I’d really like to know these concerns.I don't think that it's because Reform will actually do anything good because we all know that they won't. Of course in the meantime people are going to turn to extremes but that's because mainstream politics is not providing the answers to any questions that people feel need answering.
I think it will as well.I think this might actually help Farage in the long-run. Musk has no idea how unpopular him and Trump are here. Most polls show Farage is twice as popular as they are. As much as I hate Farage, he understands what works in the UK, and Musk and Trump's bombastic king of the world nonsense goes down like a cup of cold sick in our politics.
I think it will as well.
Like Bannon in his first adminstration Trump will fuck Elon off very early into his presidency giving Führage and his ego justification which he will use for his own gain.
Musk is very popular figure in china. His mother is a celebrity there. He won't take any of business out of there which will be the breaking point of their relationship.Would love to see it, Right wing eating itself into the ground.
There is only one political party that has run the country into the ground over the last 15 years.the same two political parties who have run the country into the ground over decades.
Brian, you might aswell leave the UK, you think we are truly fucked as a country with no hope. But where would you go?This country is between a rock and a hard place.
There are no simple, magic solutions and I wish people would understand that. If it was easy either the Tories would have sorted it, or Labour would be well on the way to sorting it.
Appointing some clueless, populist grifter as PM will not solve these issues, but make them a darned sight worse.
We had a foretaste of this with Brexit. It was a Magic Solution. We were supposed to become Camelot after we left the EU. It didn't work, it made things worse.
We are like Bury FC. We want to be in the Premier League, but the only way forward is years, maybe decades, of patient rebuilding. Making Wayne Rooney the manager will not suffice.
Wow, Starmer and the rest of his free loading cabinet aren't!

The thing you miss is economically the US did very well under Trump. That's why he got elected again. Most US voters just ignore his twitter rants. There is only one political party that has run the country into the ground over the last 15 years.
The game plan of the right wing parties here and in the US is make everything shit. And then use the fact its shit to stop doing it and reduce government spending. Then reduce the tax on the wealthy. This is alongside the broad policy of facilitating tax dodging for the mega wealthy so wile tax rates for ordinary people are as high as they have every been, anyone with the means to use tax havens and off shore their income can pay virtually no tax.
The implications of this are us povos (anyone in a household earning less than 100k a year) will lose state pensions, free education and health care. It's already happening.
Reform are just a more extreme version of the tories so you would get more of the above. Of course they don't talk about the above, they highlight immigration and woke issues which are a miniscule issue in the lives of most people.
The thing you miss is economically the US did very well under Trump. That's why he got elected again. Most US voters just ignore his twitter rants.
So then why did he not win in 2020?The thing you miss is economically the US did very well under Trump. That's why he got elected again. Most US voters just ignore his twitter rants.
covid 19So then why did he not win in 2020?
You keep saying this to him, but he’s highlighting how hard it is for any government to make discernible change without radically changing the thinking.Brian, you might aswell leave the UK, you think we are truly fucked as a country with no hope. But where would you go?
True, but not as good as Trump in the view of many AmericansThe economy was doing well under Biden.
I don't keep saying this to him. I have said why don't you leave once. Previously I pointed out that things are nowhere near as bad as Brian makes out. He never came back to me. I know you like to police the forum but you need to get your facts right before doing so.You keep saying this to him, but he’s highlighting how hard it is for any government to make discernible change without radically changing the thinking.
Limit immigration and inflation spikes out of control.
Allow the necessary level of immigration to fund the economy and infrastructure crumbles.
There are no short term fixes. We either pour a fortune into education to significantly increase British doctors/builders etc or into building houses and transport infrastructure.
Either will take far more than one or two parliaments.
Good point, perhaps ask yourself why he got back in. All im saying is there is a reason why he got back in. And that reason is mostly the economy. So then why did he not win in 2020?
