Chelsea being mentioned is easy to see. They have injuries and Chalobah on loan at Palace. Case I expect of Chelsea looking to resign Guehi - if no, look to take Chalobah back.

Depends on what the plan is with the academy/bringing back former academy players. We can only have 4 registered as club trained. Foden already is in that, mcatee will be next season, I think Bobb will be too. Rico will have 1 more year before he reaches that point, Doyle would go on that list if he sticks around and then any players we might be interested in bringing back. If we have more than 4, they leak into the homegrown quota and we fill it that way without having to look at bringing in English players to fill that.

Watching City of late in transfer windows, is almost as painful as watching my daughter furnish her flat. Despite countless people telling her otherwise, she proceeded to waste her limited budget on overpriced items, most of which I'd never heard of and that she didn't really need, whilst it took her another 2 wage packets before she realised a toaster and microwave might be a good idea after all!

I would like to think none of our transfers have a "Viana influence"......unless they are players who he couldn't realistically get to Sporting ;) .....their targets would be at least a level below any top PL club!
