i dont hate them, appreciate every single one of them for the times they have given us and for the effort they still show but just like with all of us the mind is willing but the body is weak lol

I was generalising, based on the sometimes tone across various threads.

Can I ask where you think we’d be with a fit Rodri this season, even with the back 4 injuries?
Problem is the system doesn’t work because there is a Rodri hole no one can fill, not because everyone is suddenly shit (Walker doing a decent job of proving me wrong with that).
Admittedly cycle coming to its natural end but if Rodri fit we would be sitting comfortably in top 4. Why no back up for Rodri, we’ve tried and failed. No doubt we’ll try again and hopefully get it right.
We may need a short period of being second best.
I don’t think we’d have had a complete fall off like we have in both the league and CL.

I’d say we would still be trailing Liverpool but no way would we be so far down the Champions league table. You’d have to feel we’d be a few points better off in the league.

Would we have collapsed in games like the derby and against Feynoord and Brighton if we had Rodri? I don’t think we’d would.

suprised with us heavily going for Japanese players in the womens team we haven't looked at some of their male players like Ritsu Doan, Ko Itakura and Hiroki Ito

Another player we had on the books. Been linked with Spurs.
Ange probably knows him from when he was in Japan, as you say another we signed, and after leaving his potential has grown, £5M we sold him, spurs are bei g told £15M if they want him

Problem is finding someone good enough to be Rodri’s back up who doesn’t mind being benched for every big game and 90% of the others.

Agree, someone who usually plays a more advanced position would do as long as has legs and discipline to protect back 4, something Kovacic and Gundo don’t have.

Which player that is that’s attainable, Christ knows

Rodri playing 90% of the time is exactly why we are where we are. He warned against burnout & the risk to his health being played so much, & the warnings weren't heeded.

We've played many matches where Rodri wasn't a necessity, but he was our only CDM option. In view of what's happened to him, I doubt we'll ever rinse him out the same way again.

Only three new registrations per window allowed irrespective of squad vacancies.
Where did you get that from? because if it is true then all clubs will buy youth as the mathematics will dictate it, Echeverri, and McFarland will be signed for the EDS squad, making them available for the first team.
