I've never known an Irish man to refuse it.I do enjoy the plastic paddys who drink Guinness with zero idea about Guinness family members pro UK actions around the 1916 era. A fair few Hibernians won’t touch the stuff because of it.
And I've yet to meet any person who has refused a drink based on its history.
There may well be thousands of these people who don't drink alcohol for some political reason but I have seen Budweiser bring sold by the bucket loads in Prague and vodka going down a treat in Boston.
