Do not want him, or at least do not want him now, it is money wasted, if we need a striker then get one on loan, but we need a DM if not 2 and a full back, these positions are needed, a striker is just wanted, and this one is merely showing skill in a league devoid of it. Watch him till the end of the season, decide then.
And if (God forbid) Haaland were to get an injury?

Have we fans learned nothing from the Rodri situation? We failed to replace Julian, & so far we've been fortunate that Erling has been OK, but anything can happen to him during the next 5 months.

City are merely addressing another urgent squad requirement whilst we can, before it becomes critical. The move for Moose or whatever he's called is City showing we've learned a valuable lesson from the unfortunate Rodri injury.

We've signed, Haaland, KDB, Sane, Gundo (1st time), Kompany, Akanji and probs some ive forgotton from the Bundesliga and look how well they have done.
Take a good look at your list, what is the league known for, why does Wirtz and Musiala stand out, are we going to go after these two or Marmoush in the summer.

So with no LB no RB no DM and no Box to box, you would buy a striker, or rather an attacking midfielder that is scoring well at the moment? bearing in mind we only have a few places available

We don’t buy fullbacks anyway. This club will rather be in the championship before buying a non CB. I guess we will just start to outscore other teams. Wish we would at least get a DM though.

No but from their perspective they will do their upmost in keeping him for this season. I would expect the same if he was a City player.
If it’s our player it’s a case of “Oh you want to leave then and have a club, okay we’ll sort that for you” then.

Hopefully they take the same approach ;-)

Ffs the team can by both

Why is this concept so foreign to you

This deal just seems to be further along because of perceived agreement between the player and club

The club is still looking to buy a DM this winter according to all the reporting that's out there

So stop complaining endlessly

And i think we have a limited amount of money and spaces this January, so should not waste it on positions that are wanted but not needed.
We need someone else to add goals to the squad. We also need cover for Haaland and this lad can play wide too. He’s basically the Alvarez replacement and it was crazy we didn’t sort that when selling Alvarez. We’ve been very lucky Haaland has so far stayed fit this season

There's enough money for both. We absolutely do need more clinical players at the top end of the pitch as well

Marmoush for 50m is foolishly good business in the current market. People saying we shouldn't sign him as he's not a holding mid or wing back couldn't be more out of touch. He's been one of the most consistent players over the last year. I've only watched about 7-8 full Frankfurt matches, but I can tell you with certainty that this lad is an elite bagsman. He's printed money for me on the Anytime Goalscorer Markets so maybe I'm a little biased, but the match ratings back him up.

We're Manchester City lads - we will attempt to sign ALL of the best players on the market. Signing Marmoush does not mean we have to sacrifice at other positions. Plus, we need this position covered just as much as any other... we are not scoring like we once did.

We currently do not have a LB, our RB is out for half the time, we do not have a DM nor a working box to box, we can make do, just like we made do with no striker, our midfield not scoring or not defending, is not down to, they can not, it is down to them covering a position they are not able to do, the DM spot.
We had a much better side and midfield when we played with no striker. Was also a bit of a myth half the time as Jesus played a fair bit

I am not complaining, so who told you we can do both, or rather all five, what make you think the reasons City did not spend, in the summer have changed. my only reason i think City will buy at all is to secure a CL spot next year.

Need or want, what is City`s most obvious need.
