Club World Cup - Summer 2025

Do you have to book both last 16 ties that we could be in and then receive money back on the one were not involved in ( provided we qualify)

No you get a ticket for whichever one we end up in it’s all conditional, same with qtrs and semi.
I’ve had a mare wouldn’t let me buy em all with the code. So thought like Qatar 22 I had to buy em one at a time and it blocked my access code after I’d used it once. Joke!!

Infantino's vanity tournament sums up everything that is wrong with football. Financial greed, more games for already knackered players in close season, no consideration for travelling fans. It will be played at a walking pace in 100 degree heat in half empty stadiums. If City got to the final I wouldn't have much change out of £10k. Fuck that, I won't be going.

I will be going to the under-21 Euros in Slovakia which is on at the same time as the WCC. Tickets are cheap as chips, easy to get there, beer is 3 euros, the quality of football will be better, and best of all, no fucking Americans.

This is my first trip after retirement hopefully for about a month. BA, Montevideo, Cordoba, Pampas & Pategonia. I'd kind of accepted that Boca & River Plate might be difficult to get tickets to & have watched a few San Lorenzo vids on Youtube & it looks mint. Is it right that as a tourist you only get access to certain parts of the stadium ie not the mental parts? Also which was the best ground for atmosphere & also pre match outside the stadium?
Hi - I got into a River league game no problem by signing up as an international member and then just buying a ticket. Boca you have no choice but to go via an agency as there is something like a 10 year waiting list for tickets. By Argentinian standards it's pricey but the one I used had us all meet for pizza and beers beforehand, bussed us to the ground and back etc. I'm not sure about whether the ultra sections (effectively the end behind both goals) are locals only. I suspect they may be season ticket holders only. TBH I only tried for tickets on the side so I could watch the mayhem rather than be part of it. Pre-match is a problem as there is no alcohol allowed within a certain distance of the stadium (I think 1 km but may be wrong) so it's not like going to Spain where you can stand on the corner at a bar with the locals and then stroll over. Atmosphere wise 80,000+ at River was amazing (although Echeverri was awful and was hooked at half time!), Boca was good but my favourites were probably Racing and Independiente. San Lorenzo was also good and the stadium is majestic but is so wide open that the songs don't resonate as much as the more enclosed grounds.

Understatement of the year and its only January! :)

I have my heart set on Argentina and Japan, not sure I will make it but you can dream.
Those are very different options although both amazing. If you can afford the flight then now is the time to get to Japan given the exchange rate. Food is sensational every single place you go from a corner ramen bar to a hotel tasting menu.

Had a look at tix, realized I’m not a millionaire, fucked the idea off. Soz City x
Whilst I can not disagree with you it’s a weird one that if we were to get to the final and win it then in twenty years time it may be remembered similar to the Full Members Cup Final of 86 or it could equally be like the first World Cup Final in 1930 - and grown so big you can say “I was there” (even if you are now living in a cardboard box as you are skint as a result!!)

My daughter and I fly home on the 1st July so have got tickets to the juventus game and wanted to go to the R16 if we qualify 1st but couldn’t make the R16 if we qualify second. Am I right in thinking that with the ticket you buy with the access code you just buy a R16 ticket and get either game or a refund? So no option to say I can’t attend the game in Miami?

Yes you get the ticket for whichever game city would be involved in,your other option would be to buy tickets off FIFA site when they become available and hope city finish top

Perfect thanks, that is what I thought. Will look out for R16 with FIFA and do it that way.

This is going to be an absolute tourist fest isn't it ? How many blues here are even considering going to the final ?

Wasn’t Independiente Sergio’s club?
