PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Haha, it’s not a rehearsal pal, but I don’t think 9 days off will do me any harm! Bike a bit risky at the mo, even for me, so it’s a bit of swimming, parkrun Saturday morning, then Arthur Guinness pre match Saturday :-)
Ha ha ha! I’m just heading to the outdoor pool myself- love it this time of year.
Not touched bike for months (you just know Pog will have done over 2k this month already!). I’m on 4 days a week at work now so will definitely be imbibing tonight as not in tomorrow.
Enjoy the next bevvy - you’ll have earned it.

I wonder where all those posters have gone who said if we don't sign anyone in January it's because
A - we're getting relegated.
B - Pep is leaving.
C- We're guilty.
D- we're getting a hefty points deduction.

Yes we haven't actually signed anyone but it looks like the wheels are in motion for a couple of players.

Throw in the stand being extended and Pep signing on for 2 more years and you begin to see the bigger picture.

Only signing players because transfer ban is part of punishment

Please keep up ;)

Bumbaclarts mate. But they’ll be back.

If we get a few in this window it’ll be “transfer ban incoming so we’re stockpiling”.

So i make it 103 of the alleged breaches are not cooperating or providing information in a timely manor to the pl investigation. Joke.

How can you not cooperate with the Governing body ? our Accounts are made public after audited and signed off
Manchester City don't have to provide anything else and it's the Premier League that has to find true evidence of us cheating,

Believing fake hacked emails is not evidence and again Manchester City has proven all of this at CAS and found not guilty.
It's so funny how the Premier League and the FA didn't think there was enough evidence to bring a court case against Liverpool hacking into our account and asked Manchester City to settle out of court with compensation from Liverpool

PL rules basically say we have to provide whatever they ask for. One of the few instances where a company is required to help its accuser find it guilty. No fifth amendment here.
In the current case, I assume City will say the PL just went on a massive fishing expedition and it became so onerous that we called a halt.
CAS reduced our fine because of poor practice by UEFA in leaking stuff.
I expect the panel to rule in favour of the PL.

Highly unlikely, as he will have been non-domiciled and thus eligible to claim the remittance basis of taxation.

So actually a fairly substantial UK tax benefit.
Then he wouldn’t fall under the Italian/UK double taxation agreement and would pay Italian tax on the UAE based income which had a top rate of 43% so hardly a huge amount (of saving).

His “centre of interest” remained Italy even whilst he lived in the UK.

But surely thats a bullshit notion if they have asked for something that city has no right to supply them with?
