As far as I remember they never did this when Liverpool signed VVD after they bought him for £70 odd million more than what he cost Southampton.
Or spending £50m more than Benfica paid for Nunez 12 months earlier.

I wonder why they do this with city?

Could it be because the media are a shower of cunts

I was also born in wythenshawe and likewise think he's a **** top, are we allowed to use that word on here.
It is a bit frowned upon by the mods; and people, generally, dont want it shoved in their faces (figuratively speaking), but saying 'Wythenshawe' doesn't get you a thread ban.... just yet ;)

But they did it when we signed Kev from Dortmund. They paid Chavs 17 mill we paid 52. Really Geoff I thought it was Lira. Thick **** Merson.

Sources with knowledge of the deal say there are additional bonus payments attached to the sale, with the player due to undergo a medical before the transfer is officially confirmed.

Fuck me Simple Simon what a great bit of reporting ………….. basically and thankfully this tells me the club wouldn’t tell you anything about our new signing
This para could be applied to any fucking signing ever made in world sport……..

So predictable and so what. Suppose he had developed via the Lens Academy, cost them nowt and we had paid more?

Setting off about 12 today for the match
100% not putting any media on as the dross of 92 will be off the scale today .
Just send them home humble if possible.

Not sure if talkspirt can be regarded as Media but switched it on as about to start the journey up to Manchester.

The presenter asked if Salford City had more fans than Manchester City.

I'm on my way to join 53000 other Hardy souls, What a plonker he sounded.
Their average crowd is 2,800 so the answer is 'no'.

It’s a joke that any paid presenter can come out with such a comment

Jaquie Beltrao interviewing Liam Broady on Sky News about the upcoming tennis.

Signs off with saying he's a Manchester United fan. He quickly corrects her by saying "no, I am a Manchester City fan".

Such poor preparation, or done intentionally.
Obviously intentional - what a tosser. The Broady’s have always made it known they are huge Blues
