Laporte was absolutely brilliant and we should never have sold him.

he was iffy plenty of times, had more lapses in concntration in season than walker and Gvardiol have one.

we have misty eyed memories of him because he came after the train wreck mangala was, Otamendi was a better defender than him, though not as good a passer, Ake, Stones and Dias were all superior in class to him so was suplus and roghtly sold.

Can't agree about the French league . It's probably on a par with the PL when it comes to speed and physicality. Definitely the closest of all European leagues

Zaba was a brilliant all round traditional fullback. Loved him.

Walker was absolutely perfect for Pep’s system (at the time of buying him) and for what we paid (at the time I thought we were getting ripped off) and what we’ve won with him in the team - it’s definitely been a bargain!

Both brilliant for City.
