You're absolutely right - they were last season, but not this year.Lens aren't in the champions league?

To be honest - whatever we do. Whoever we sign - at the moment owing to our huge unprecedented successes, other clubs & the media will do anything they can to drag our name through the mud. As fans- let’s not help them ehI think what concerns most decent City fans is not having the clubs name dragged through the media - especially after we had a good 18 months of it with Mendy.
Agreed. Let’s not give them the ammunition to add to it.To be honest - whatever we do. Whoever we sign - at the moment owing to our huge unprecedented successes, other clubs & the media will do anything they can to drag our name through the mud. As fans- let’s not help them eh
Big step up from the French league to the PL, probably one for the future rather than the nowJust checked. 24 games for Lens in 18 months. I'm sure we've done due diligence on this lad but he's pretty inexperienced.
he was iffy plenty of times, had more lapses in concntration in season than walker and Gvardiol have one.Laporte was absolutely brilliant and we should never have sold him.
Can't agree about the French league . It's probably on a par with the PL when it comes to speed and physicality. Definitely the closest of all European leaguesBig step up from the French league to the PL, probably one for the future rather than the now
Hope not - we need him nowBig step up from the French league to the PL, probably one for the future rather than the now
When he had pace, yes. Now he's lost the pace he once had and look at him now. That's how he would have played if he never had any pace in the first place.I find it really weird that people call Walker "brain dead", Yes he has had a few brain farts at his time here but he's certainly done more good than harm...
The best right back to ever play in the Premier League is "brain dead".
Ok
Nah, they have PSG and the strength after that is iffy as fuckCan't agree about the French league . It's probably on a par with the PL when it comes to speed and physicality. Definitely the closest of all European leagues
I think it's pretty clear he's for the very near future, maybe not Brentford but on the bench the game after that.Big step up from the French league to the PL, probably one for the future rather than the now

Brain dead yet he locked up Mbappe and Vini on numerous occasionsI find it really weird that people call Walker "brain dead", Yes he has had a few brain farts at his time here but he's certainly done more good than harm...

Agree with all of that mate.Zaba was a brilliant all round traditional fullback. Loved him.
Walker was absolutely perfect for Pep’s system (at the time of buying him) and for what we paid (at the time I thought we were getting ripped off) and what we’ve won with him in the team - it’s definitely been a bargain!
Both brilliant for City.
Short memories and off field stuff which I don’t give to fucks about personallyDon't get this slagging Walker off. It's not his fault the club has been tardy in getting cover for him. I have many great memories from supporting City and his duels with Vinicius Jnr are up there with the greatest of them.
Both Zaba and your dog are harder than Jaap Stam!Agree with all of that mate.
I’m just biased because I named my dog after Zaba :)
Father Time is undefeated. I wouldn't trust him to lock a door these days.Brain dead yet he locked up Mbappe and Vini on numerous occasions
