The penny will drop one day at City and they will have a rethink on how to counter the constant flow of snide negative reporting.

For some yeah, but as my post above they just don't think it is happening, including lifelong city fans.On LinkedIn you often see City employees liking tweets from the official United accounts and others. A lot don’t have an emotional connection to the club and just see it as a job so don’t care about the negativity.

That just wasn't true. Success of any comms team is measured by the coverage they receive and it is not in their interest to admit to getting it wrong. The people in the media team will never admit to failing at their job. So many organisations are like this these days.
