Gone very quiet, this one. The news at the time was that it was close and the only thing being ironed out was the terms of the deal - I presume there's been a stumbling block in the fact they want him to stay until July but I'm sure we'll find out soon.

Either we pay more and get him now or we get some sort of benefit for leaving him there until July despite signing him now.

Cheeky mare, she wants her Manchester City tax. We already offered more than other clubs.

Then she continued…. ‘we want more and even then we would still want Reis to stay until after the Club World Cup’. So she suggested more negotiation is required.

I think City will walk away. No one else is offering what city have and then no one can have him until after the summer tournament anyway.

Watch this space in summer if City hasn’t moved onto another CB.
 
real madrid coming out today saying they have reservations about him on the same day the owner says this makes me think the deals close to been completed and for him to come in january
 
Now Khusanov and Bah and the CB position won’t need any new players in the next years. The other 2 should be done this week too.
 
good news, lets get him in and even if he doesnt really play much he can get used to Manchester same as Echeverri.
at age 17/18 to move from Brazil and Argentina to Manchester, its a shocking thing imo, especially if they dont speak English much.

wouldnt expect either Reis or Echeverri to start 4+ PL games even this season imo certainly not if Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol, Ake manage to keep fit mostly , Stones unlikely to do that imo his place for ext season is under threat now, we need fit players.

but being here getting used too the country, to the team, settle down, have a great pre season maybe some game time in the CWC, it a lot better for future season than arriving mid summer 2025 or maybe being away longer due to some youth tournaments in the summer.

really promising Bobb, Echeverri, Reis, Savinho, Kushanov fucking hell at least one of these need to turn into world beater in their position. maybe more than one. total outlay on them around 100m plus bonuses,

out with the old, in with the new, lets rebuild big time.

Add in Wirtz, Marmoush, a top CM with huge energy and great off the ball skills, while wake up the likes of Foden, Bernardo, and we could be a different animal by August for next season.
 
Elegant player, do not think we will see him for a couple of seasons, think he will need time to adjust to European styles and beef up.
