I would like to know why our main rivals players aged 30+ run around like their careers have only just started but ours are all look ready for the knackers yard?!
Ours have played sixty to seventy games in total for four years straight , add in the other pep seasons then they are knackered , more than one season we were still in three comps in april after winning the caraboes numerous times already . Peps style is very draining on the players , intensity in training the same as games . They are going to wear out quicker

Tbf , i was a nurse and a forces wife , i learnt how to swear really well, i had hoped by now people would be used to me swearing and it doesnt mean i am mad

Except this time , lol
Might be worth trying to substitute it with another word. My uncle was ex Navy (20 years service) and he just said "flipping" all the time. ;-)

Drop a stinker over the age of 30 these days and your’re classed as done. Hopefully just needs a run of games

He was quality tonight, technically he is still on a different level.

We are going to miss him when leaves that’s for sure, it will be a sad day. He has been absolutely immense for us over the years, one of our best for sure.

Looked a lot better tonight and probably no coincidence that he’s had over a week to train and rest properly.

You take him out of that side tonight and we look distinctly, decidedly average.

If he can build on that performance tonight he may be able to get us into the top four this season. Other than De Bruyne, I don’t see anyone doing it, particularly if we fail to sign a decent defensive midfielder.

When he had space he was magic, can he keep doing this week in week out if he stays fit ? let's hope so.

If you are going to carry one player who is 33 then Kev is that player. Interesting to me he was probably the one player closing their defenders down and his pass for the goal and 2 other clear chances is irreplaceable.

I thought he was the best player on the pitch tonight and let's not forget Brentford make their living about closing down and physicality.

Compare his performance with that of Bernie who has fallen off a cliff. I have never seen him be so passive when attacking the space - it's as if he's doubting his own ability.

A lot of positives for him tonight. Stared slow but seemed to click 30 minutes in and was very good after that. Great assist and ran his bollocks off for the middle 40 mins
