I reckon at best there is a handful of players good enough for that role.Given Rodri was injured 4 months ago and we have been shite for the last 3 I thought we may have had someone lined up to be honest.
None are at a club where we can just bully our way in and take them.
You can argue all you want about just signing anyone is better than no one but we haven't operated like that for the last decade.

Since the season doesn't start after the window and our season could more or less be over by the time its closed, of course people are going to complain about that no very needed reinforcements has arrived when we continue to play awful and drop valuable points.Are you seriously about to start flapping before we are even halfway through the window?

Probably less than a handful. You should never sign someone as a 'number'....you'd end up with more than one Kelvin Phillips, crap players on big wages can't be shifted, and then you haven't got the option to pay a 'top player' what you'd need to......thank god we haven't got too far into that cycle!I reckon at best there is a handful of players good enough for that role.

We need midfielders, it`s midfield that`s the problem more than defenders and attackers.
I hope we can stay in the top 4 without getting any by the time the window shuts. because unfortunately we have too many players who don`t like the physical side.
Maybe Pep`s troubles have caused him to lose focus, but I`m sure we wish Pep and his family well and wish him happiness

Oh I agree, if it was easy more clubs would have won 4 premier league titles on the trot.100% agree but it's not that easy, we need long term solutions not something for 3 months.
Let’s hope we get at least 2 quality midfield players in the summer who are press resistant and have aggression to go with rest of the abilities we need. Goal scoring is a must.
