I think it's pretty obvious that Frankfurt want to hang onto Moose for as long as possible, before accepting a bid. It wouldn't surprise me if the player is beginning to get pissed off. He's played two games since our first reported offer, & now looks like he'll have to play a third.

If this report is true, no wonder he's beginning to fret an injury may collapse his dream move. This might now come down to Moose applying pressure by telling Frankfurt he's played his last game & to get the transfer done. Frankfurt got him on a free, & any fee paid is pure profit. However, how much will it cost the Germans to replace his goals & assists?

If City want to cut through all the bollocks, pay €80m & it's done. From City's perspective, waiting another week or two & saving £10m - £15m is the better long-term decision. Personally, I can wait.

We see the same every time we enter negotiations. The selling party, and us, have media sources who report on the position of each side. Nearly always, we meet somewhere in the middle, and today Bild reports that 'they won't stand in Oscar's way for a few extra million.' It would be a big surprise for this not to get done...and soon. Who wouldn't want a player destroying the Bundesliga goals and assists chart ahead of Kane, Wirtz, Musiala, and others?
