I did wonder. I don't actually mind instagram and out of the well known ones its the only one i really use as its far less toxic than say twitter and facebook is 99% adverts.

Do you think they have statues outside the Etihad because they are famous enough for Kim Kardashian to chase them for selfies, or the fact that millions of children growing up is dedicating their lifes to them and therefore City while he is here?

That is the reality of Haaland and why he is the biggest star we have had. But still he is way less worthy of a statue than the likes of Aguero, Silva, Kompany or Bell. Or worthy yet to be considered a better footballer than De Bruyne. But football despite being the biggest sport in the world is still pretty niche in the broader terms. The level of fame we are talking about is not. Surely that makes sense

Daniel Day-Lewis is a better actor than Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise but everyone knows Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. Most people interested in movies know Daniel Day-Lewis. That is the difference
