If you believe that replacing Kevin de Bruyne, is done by paying fees similar to Matheus’s then we’re clearly not on board the same train.

Quality is expensive, rare and wanted by many teams. You want us to stay on top the food chain? I assume so, well I’m sorry, but the game is unfair, and expensive. We have to fork out money if we want to win. I am willing to die on this hill.

what is ur problem ? We have been linked with a bunch of players we have some others that pre agreed just say which players you are actually referring to.

I think I have maybe seen 1 linked with Brighton if one of them is Marmoush I think that’s unlikely given the fees involved and how Brighton work

I still believe we’re discussing with one of the big boy clubs. How we’ve managed to keep it quiet is interesting. My desire would be RM, but I think their bargaining chip would be harsh.

Also. Stealing Zubimendi from Cringe FC, would be hilarious.

And with regards to Rashford, I’d rather watch us be relegated than have that kind of player here.

I haven't the faintest idea who we get to replace KDB, it's quite likely somebody very different to KDB , in fact it has to be he's like David Silva unique.It's very likely somebody nobody has mentioned. I doubt whoever it is will cost £100mill. Maybe Marmoush is that man and the player we'll spend money on is an 8 to replace Gundogan / Kovacic.

But nobody has a clue who it is. And that's a weird situation. Nobody is talking. People will give info on the 115 case off the record with the "anonymous source/protect relationships" stuff and that's the most important thing that has happened in the modern history of this football club. But nobody is saying anything about the midfielder.

Here's my guess, and I stress that this is a total guess. I think the midfielder is coming from Viana exclusively. I think it might be someone who he has already done a lot of groundwork with or has a pre-existing relationship so there's little need for all the usual hoop jumping that would happen if this went through the City ranks. We already know that Reis is a Viana signing and although Khusanov was "on the list" in November, if you look at the profile of the player then he's more the type of risky player that goes to a Sporting than signs for City. Khusanov should sign for City as the club after his next one. Marmoush is a typical Txiki signing imo.

That's the only way this makes sense to me. The only other option I can think of, and this seems highly unrealistic, is that it's a controversial signing like a Zubimendi who Arsenal think they've got wrapped up. But I think it's the Viana thing, unless somebody else has got any ideas?

I'm pretty sure it's just going to be Douglas Luiz but the way Juventus are negotiating means it will have to wait until January 31st. Sometimes there is nothing you can do in a negotiation until it becomes time sensitive and flushes out last and final offers.

I'm surprised we've already got Marmoush in given the circumstances.

In terms of big names, I don't see anyone likely to move at all. Kimmich will stay at Bayern until summer and doesn't fit the age profile. Zubimendi, maybe, but Arsenal seem to be briefing that they've tied him up. Other than that who is there?

Just have to be patient.
