so you decide to use Alvarez's fee without potential add-ons and compare it to Marmoush's fee with add ons? where is the logic in that?
Fees have no bearing at all (other than fair play bollox).....a good signing, is better than we currently have, a poor signing is not as good as we currently have, regardless of the cost of either.
Alverez isn't here, so comparing him is pointless.

I don't care about his fee as long as he does the business for us.

really excited especially of how he can transfer over his sick form to this current City side. looking at the highlights we do certainly arent getting our attacking players in situations like he scored so many at Frankfurt (similar like a Haaland highlight from his Dortmund goals, many counters, many shots made with only 1-2 defender in-around etc ) but thats because opponents of Frankfurt aint setting up like our opponents obviously.

he is deffo someone tho that can play in Haaland but we need to be quicker in transition to get the ball up from the back dont let opponent time to reset their defenders back in place but have a go at them rather than slow build up, CB-s passing between each other few times and we are up against a parked bus with very little space for Haaland to operate in.
I hate it when opponent has a corner, they bring their defenders up, we clear it, ball ends up outside our box with Gundo, Bernardo etc, and their first instinct is to keep it, wait, hold it, pass sideways, rather than look for runners try to do a quick counter and by the time we attack its limited to Ake-Akanji passing between each other on the opponents half and even our wingers only have space to receive the ball with their back to the net passing it back to CB or fullback.

this will need to change to get the best out of Haaland and Marmoush as well. it was OK when KDb, Gundo, Rodri, Bernardo were in their prime 2-3-4 years ago, and Grealish, Mahrez were in good/great form but a lot changed since.
