In theory yesterday's results were good for us (Arsenal) but they reality is we srebt clawing back 9 points on the Dippers as I can't see where we get the goals from to do it. Not unless we start converting better. I guess last night helped us from a Top 4/5 perspective but I think that's our real priority.

Those Trivago adverts Bingo does - his teeth make him a fucking laughing stock. You can imagine the people who worked on it seeing him for the first time saying to themselves: "What the fuck has he done with his teeth? He looks like a hybrid of Esther Rantzen and Janet Street-Porter. What a ****!"

Janet bloody Street bloody Porter?

Don’t these people go to dentists, for Christ's sake?

And yet it appears you are getting another midfielder. A quality buy mind you, but it does really seem to be ignoring what almost everyone else thinks you guys need.

I think it is still "up for grabs"...in that immortal phrase!!! with the results helping you last night.

My biggest take away from last night is that Nuno has found a rare blend, perhaps as Ranieri did with Leicester? They all know their jobs and I was really impressed with how they carried out their game plan last night. Forest are a decent side and deserve all the credit they are getting.

Quality as always @KentBlue.
I believe he left the dippers because he has now got so much plastic he would fail the fire safety certificate at any candlelight vigil.

I always wondered why Pep did the whole "respect" thing with the entitled bitter lunatic. That's one thing I like about Mourinho, he makes it clear from the start who he respects and who he doesn't, Pep shows respect to Arsenal Wenger yet he always has something negative to say about City, compare that to how Mourinho utterly ridiculed Wenger, being the bigger man isn't always the right play.

I always wondered why Pep did the whole "respect" thing…

being the bigger man isn't always the right play.
Of course it is! It’s right there in the fucking name!

Being petty and vindictive is not only for the smaller man, but it makes you look the twat! Why would you have that goal?

The whole thing says more about you than Mourinho or Pep, though!

PEG fell out with all the managers, who challenged him.

And as for respect? He never showed any respect to Pellers.

He was a complete twat. And probably still is.

I'm guessing Salah's agent is on the blower right now......

For a team pissing the league their are so negative about this season and ars now seeing the reality that they will probably do a Leicester and win it and then all the star players leave and they sink while we write this season off and then plan for the future . Would love it if they get caught .

Different styles

Some people get more motivated by a bit of needle, some find is a distraction.

Like Boxers I guess, some need that bit of trash talking back and forth during weigh ins and whatnot, some don't. It don't think it's a major reflection on who they truly are as they're all snogging after the final bell.

Mourinho obviously just thrived off the tension, like when he wanted to whip up the crowds and opponents fans etc.

Shame we are so far off it. We’d reel them in without sweating in a normal season.

I'll give credit to the dippers for capitalising on the other teams inconsistencies, but the truth is they've been handed this years title on a plate. Other seasons we would definitely reel them in, if we were about 9 points behind.

Sloth couldn't even have dreamed that we would fall off this badly. Then arsenal are feeling the effects of going toe to toe with City for 2 years and it's done their heads in. Chelsea are not there yet.

But this happens now and again when the main contenders either hit a wall or are in a transitional period and a team gets a pretty clear run at the title.

The dippers won't lose it from here simply because nobody else is capable of putting a big run together. Unless Arsenal suddenly find the form that made them big frontrunners the two previous seasons.

Looks like RAWK has restricted access to the General Football section - now only for registered users. I wonder what precipitated that? Perhaps the fear of legal action for some of the defamatory and libellous posts within, including the even the title of the thread for our club.

I think this was the week when those who were most ill-informed and incapable of critical thinking on the subject are starting to slowly wake up to the reality that most City fans have been aware of for a couple of years. It’s been a slow and painful road at times, but anyone with more than four brain cells can see the way the wind is blowing, even though the signs have been there throughout.

Wenger praises us all the time and has been calling us the best model for running a club

If you mean the stuff at the take over time, well his team were on the wane and a new threat was in town, of course he criticised then, since he quit management his whole outlook has changed.

Well put. Think people are finally realising we’ve been persecuted by all and sundry. Imagine the outrage on Rawk if the boot was on the other foot? They’d have been campaigning for compensation for defamation of character.
