I'm not talking about going to the gym five times a week :)

Just simple things like not smoking, not eating crap, going for a nice brisk walk a couple of times a day etc.

I'm addicted to Chocolate and I love a good meat and potato, chips, peas and gravy in a chippy.

However, I have had enough, as from today it stops,

(I've been saying that for the last three years lol!)

Any tips?

I have a nice treadmill and exercise bike, I'll have to take the dust sheets off.

I eat junk and rubbish alot some days.
Wife cooks healthy dinners though for me.
Fitness i run 6 days out of 7.
Beers I tend to binge and go heavy when I’m out average once every couple weeks probably- I avoid booze indoors.

I've just done a pre diabetes course and it's an eye opener.

Eat healthy balanced meals and get some exercise. You need to burn what you eat.

I've jacked in smoking, drinking and now sugar and as much fat as possible. Payback time or it's check out time.

Don't spend all your money on drugs and City awoooooooooo

My weakness is Boost bars, fucking delicious, I also love toasted rye bread with lurpac and marmalade.

Try and find a form of exercise you enjoy and actually want to do and build up slowly if you have been putting it off for years.

Little and often is a hell of a lot better than signing up to bootcamp going 100mph for 2 weeks then pulling a muscle and never going back because you secretly hated every minute and wanted an excuse to stop.

Cook your own meals from scratch as much as possible, you won't even need to change your diet that much to realise a massive difference. So much of the supermarket convenience food is absolutely loaded with shite.

Not sure how old you are, but if you’re in your 50’s, It will definitely pay off when you hit 70.

Just had an omelette , 3 large eggs , tin of tuna , red pepper , mushroom and chuck a few herbs in , bloody lovely and a bucket full of protein

Set your treadmill to an incline setting and walk at 3mph for 30 minutes a day..
You can increase speed and distance after you get used to doing it..

10,000 steps a day
Stop eating shit
Stop drinking (or at least reduce it)

Stick to a routine and be consistent and the weight will soon start coming off and you'll feel a lot better about yourself

I was just under 16st in August, and just by walking more, eating a lot less shit, and drinking very rarely has seen me lost just shy of 2st

Doesn't even really feel a chore but in a nutshell, alcohol and shit food are probably the main contributors to you feeling like shit

I was 13 st in August. Saw a holiday pic and thought best sort this as I was going on 55. Changed my diet and went back to the gym for the first time in over 10 years. Now weigh 11 st and have a six pack for the first time in my life. It's mainly diet but it's never too late to sort it out.
