You can only beat what's in front of you and City did that today in style. Should do wonders for confidence and also heat up competition for starting places.
 
Excellent performance, Doku motm. I want to see him and Savinho together again I really think there's great potential with those two on the wings. Kev and Phil both getting back in the groove as well, happy days

The problem is Savio has looked better on the left and Doku is pants on the right.
 
The sort of performance that will still leave the likes of the dippers and the tarquins feeling very uneasy. A good performance at PSG with new signings arriving next week and the second half of the season could get very interesting.

Feeling excited as we are now having a shot to nothing in the league which could be a lot of fun with the pressure off. Let’s see what happens.
 
Pleased for Gundo as this was the sort of afternoon (and role) I'm sure he was expecting when he came back.

For what it's worth, I watched the match on French telly. They're mad about McAtee here. I'm glad he got his goal.
 
Thought that it could be a tricky game with city atm but signs are getting better and we are flowing moving forward and defence was better against probably the worst team in the league but everyone was smiling which was a major plus . We just need that holding mid to sit with kova and we will be ok .
 
Much better today, once again inspired by the tenacity of De Bruyne early on. He set the tone, Ruben led the defensive line and the midfield were much sharper.

Doku was great today, Foden much better along with the goals which is a positive in itself for him and De Bruyne once again proving that isn’t past it and is still our best player on his day.

I expected us to win today as I watched Ipswich the other night and thought they were shite. I didn’t expect us to win so convincingly though so that was a bonus.

Bit of confidence for the team.

Whether it was a temporary thing we will find out midweek and against Chelsea but the signs were good.
 
Had a family commitment in Sheffield today so couldn’t follow the game. Had a brief chance to catch the score and it was nil nil after 20. Made the mistake of going on the match day thread and it was fairly toxic.
Nice surprise to then find out later we won 6-0.
Were we really that bad at first or should I have known better?
 
I think some people, who should know better, have written KDB off far too quickly. I think between now and May he’ll earn a year extension. Having said that we still need to buy his replacement in the summer.
 
Bloody had to go out for a family meal & missed this. Never saw this result coming. Looking forward to motd for a change.

Top top class that! Foden/KDB back and firing. Get Marmoush in this team and it’s long for the rest of the league. 10 game win streak and we win the league haha.
 
Gundogan played really well but guess many didn't notice, as it went against their expectations.

Doku was involved in the first 5 goals, MOTM for me. With him, Savinho, Foden, Haaland, Bobb, KDB and Marmoush we have incredible depth in attack. Grealish and McAtee can contribute, too.
 
Dias made a difference at the back. De Bruyne was a bit iffy passing wise at times but if just played simple passes his creativity would be reduced, overall good. Hopefully we are on an upward trajectory but Ipswich are poor but have a chance at times as chelsea game showed
