Thought I'd use chatGPT for a bit of goalkeeper research.
Which goalkeepers are best with their feet?
It lists 6 - one of them is de gea so that can be ignored as nonsense.

Depends how you define it. To be fair to the twat he is probably one of the best I have ever seen at saving the ball with his feet.

Absolutely hopeless at playing with his feet though

Stats look good, got an accurate long ball on him. I’d love Trafford to come back, seems he’s doing much better than last season but still remains to be seen if he can cut it in the prem. Can see him going Newcastle or Chelsea and doing very well.

Seen a stat after his howler on Sunday that said Onana already has 10 mistakes leading to goals for Man United in 2 seasons. De Gea only had 17 in his 415 PL caps.

Remarkably for someone who is trusted on the ball so often, Ederson only has 8 in his 264 PL matches. Alisson has 8 in 214 matches for anyone wondering.

Ederson is a top lad What a signing he was. Deserves his flowers as one of our most important players during our reign on top.
 
Not sure why we have not shown an interest in Alex Meret at Napoli. Has kept a fair few clean sheets and is available on a free in summer if Napoli can’t get him to sign a new deal. Very good keeper.

Think he needs to show more than one game against a massively inferior side ti claim he's "back to his old self", he's got a lot to prove

18 months on his contract, 32 in the summer, coming up on 9 seasons at the club, won literally everything and potentially the Saudis with their wealth looking at him

If he's gonna be 100% committed and show the player who's been, then power to him

But can't hurt looking for his long term replacement, even if it's not this summer it's probably gonna happen in the next 2 years

Could be a good signing. We might need to replace all our goalkeepers soon Carson contract up ? Ederson to Saudi ? Ortega wanting to be number 1 ? Need to do this as cheaply as possible whilst keeping quality high
