A real shame that the fans won't get a chance to say farewell on the pitch.

A massively important player for us. One of our best and most important signings.
Goal scorers always get the glory but Kyle has been every bit as important at the other end.

He'll be a huge loss.

The Kyle Walker from when he signed until the end of the 2022-2023 has already been lost, and the loss was huge.

The Kyle Walker of 2023-2024 and particularly 2024-2025 is of no loss whatsoever.

A formidable player on his day. But this move sums him up as a character. He's a team captain but fucks off half way through the season where the chips are down. I understand it's his team mates who voted for him to be captain, it seemed a strange choice back then and now with hindsight it seems all the more absurd.

What a player he’s been. Gutted he’s leaving halfway through the season, and it’s hard to accept we’ll never see him in a City shirt again.

Walker, along with Ederson and Bernardo, completely transformed us from a solid top-four side into the Centurions.

You don't know how he is as person to his teammates, so don't assume you know everything about him.

There's reason he voted as Captain twice in row, yes he is not an ideal captain for some fans but his teammates who have seen him and know him personally on daily basis think him differently.

It will be sad for such a pivotal player to not be given a proper send-off. Still, I imagine he just needs to get away, such is the utter shambles of his private life. What a player he has been for us. Good luck to him.

Defo a city legend, ended not the way anyone wanted but maybe its for the best.

He's been an incredible signing and critical to our success. We wouldn't have been able to play the way we did for the majority of Pep's time without him.

319 appearances for the mighty blues.
6 x PL winner
2 x FA Cup winner
4 x League Cup winner
CL, Super Cup and Club World Cup winner.

Not too shabby!

Legs have gone and combined with a difficult period off the pitch he's lost his way. I wish him all the best and hope he returns one day to get the send off he deserves.

Nailed it...(no pun intended).

The time was probably right last summer but, we should all be big enough to applaud him on a return visit.

Hopefully he gets a flight back to wave to the fans on Saturday and get the adulation he deserves. His powers have waned but he’s won everything with us and will rightly be referred to as the best right back the Premier League has ever seen.
He’s unlikely to play on Sunday for Milan so it’s more than doable to be with us on Saturday evening. Flight back to Italy Saturday night so he can be paraded in front of the Rossoneri on Sunday.
Jobs a good un.

Such a shame i get the feeling hes leaving under a slight cloud. With his performances dipping so alarmingly and getting stick off fuck wits, i hope he knows how much we have to thank him for

Come back and say bye eh?

Man I’ll just say to all the “legs have gone” posters, if he suddenly re-appears in Italy with all his pace back it will be plain as day he downed tools to force a move.

Phenomenal athlete and he got from us what we got from him. His handing of Vini will go down as one of the great performances.

But…hasn’t got 2 brain cells, terrible captain.

Won’t be sad to see a person with his character heading out the door but what a talent he was.

Might not be the last time we see him this season. There is a very real chance we could get AC Milan in the CL L16 qualifiers and he lines up for them against us.

I'd hazard a guess because he's on loan there's no chance of that. Next season maybe.

He’s had a knee injury that he’s played through too, which this rest may have helped ease.

I hope he does get some form back. I don’t want to see him broken completely. He doesn’t deserve that.

Legend. No doubt about it.

As others have said - has played more than 300 games for City, won a bucketload of trophies (including the Centurions, the Fourmidables, the Three-Peaters, and the treble winners) and was the captain who lifted the history-making fourth consecutive First Division/Premier League title.

No other City captain will have that honour specifically. No other captain in the entirety of English football will ever have that honour specifically. In fact, he's the first and only footballer in the history of the English game to captain a side while it won a fourth consecutive title.

Will likely finish his career on (or near) to 100 England caps too.
