Welcome Abdukodir Khusanov

They could and should be far better, embarrassing asking the same question 10 times and making the player feel and look so uncomfortable.
That interviewer is terrible, how’s he’s been at city for that long is beyond me. I’m sure when we signed Nasri he asked him something stupid like what’s your favourite flavour of crisps

AK47 would have been brilliant marketing. Club missed a trick there. Imagine the merch we could have shifted for this lad, especially with his hardman image. Foden should have changed numbers!

Do you not remember Sterling's gun tattoo. We would have been destroyed in the press for doing that, although that wouldn't be anything new.

Terrible ideas, i don't think most Uzbek nationals will want to be referenced by anything that references Soviets or Russians occupations in Uzbekistan and that's including the most infamous guns in history.

City promoting the worlds greatest killer the AK47, what could possibly go wrong with that PR ;)

I know the Iranian and Iraqi community and there is no hostility towards Russia. UAE, Iraq, Iran, Egypt are part of BRIC. Uzebkistan is a partner of BRIC.

From what i have read Uzbekistan has a population of around 36m people.

Their most popular player signs for one of the biggest clubs in the world which is also in the most watched league.

How many of them will become City fans now, buy the shirts, watch the matches and even think of going to the Etihad?
It’s a win-win for the club

I hope he is strong in the air. Since Vinny left, we have not had a defender who is dominant in the air. His head was like a ball magnet. You just knew when desperate teams threw the ball in the mixer, he would clear the danger. We do miss that. The lack of aerial dominance has been really obvious this season.

With his pace, being new to the league and appearing raw, I wouldn't be surprised if he plays RB to start with.

Number one for social media interactions in Tashkent, you’ll never sing that.
