It’s reassuring to see that we are run by such a smart strategic operator. I am sure Khaldoon takes the same approach with CFG.The UAE culture is to speak last, not loudest.
When Dubai fucked over the UAE by embarrassing them on a global stage, Abu Dhabi bailed them out and presented a united, cooperative front. Then punished them for it 12 years later.
Khaldoon isn't joking around when he says that the UAE favour long term investments and will ride any short term storms. Like his Trump or the domestic Chinese market answers there, you can see that he's uncomfortable with it because he uses the (in his verbiage) worst word in the entire world that amounts to blasphemy - instability. But he's not pulling Mubadala out of one of their most exposed markets because they invest for the next 20 years rather than the next quarterly report.

Contrary to what you might read in the RDAHMeedya there are a substantial number of people, though not City fans, find the football exhilarating.This. On Holiday in non resort Spain and the only tops on sale showing non Madrid seem to be Haaland and Messi Argentina tops. I do think the media hype behind united etc works to keep them relevant and might slow local growth (UK) but Haaland has massively accelerated our fan base amongst the school age kids across all Markets - For good or bad he is becoming the face of City.
