Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

I think Pep still underestimates the importance of bringing Rodri‘s replacement in this window. I hope he doesn’t need ending on 8th place to figure this out.

The products our own academy are shining all over the country and continent while our 30+ midfielders being overrun every 3 days.

I'm very sad that Pep separated from his wife of 30 years. Apparently the breaking point was Pep's recent extension to his contract with City. His wife - from reports - hated this, so much, that it led to a divorce.

Now that Pep is single - free to choose his own destiny - might he renew yet again? I hope so.

Pep is the greatest manager in football - now - and perhaps ever.

With the right supporting staff, recruiting the right players, we'll remain the dominant side in world football.

And yet, this is a fragile time. Does Pep intend to extend his current contract? Is our recruiting staff still able to beat out the competition, identifying key players ahead of our competitors?

Without credible links - I'm going to put this rumor down to unfounded speculation.

The alternative narrative - that his wife didn't want to live in Manchester City and wanted Pep to end his contract with us seems at least credible - and has been widely reported.
Well she wouldn't be the first high profile person to complain about the weather or the presence of just two restaurants but whereas we common souls wait for a plane for a few days in a crowded 'Blackpool Riviera', those fortunate folk who were introduced to power and privilege at an early age too readily fail to accept that they can travel almost at the drop of a hat to many of the world's most beautiful locations for as long as they wish and to travel without rubbing shoulders with us commoners.

Has his pants pulled down by Enrique tonight. Didn’t have any answer to their press, didn’t seem to change anything either all game.

The same Kova/Gundo sub which failed against Brentford and again tonight, obviously, absolutely baffling.

Regardless of the players how many times can we go 2 up & not change our play it’s mental,

He looks lost & has to stop this loyalty to old players it’s killing us.

I just don’t see him staying past this season. He looks as drained as most of the players

I honestly don't think he had the squad to even pick a team that could cope tonight.

The bit that is on him is the small squad.
Everything else isn't.

Nobody could have seen this big of a drop off from 7+ players. The the recruitment has been fucking shocking, Kovacic, Nunes etc...terrible.
