What is the point of winning next week? We are extremely poor this season with only flashes of what we are capable of. Two play-off matches will not help at all.

If we can cobble together any sort of fixed starting eleven that can be trusted, then the FA Cup and top 4 should be our priority.

If we get into the playoffs are the new signings eligible to play or can't they be registered until the last 16?

I agree, not getting more added time was a blessing. But his point still stands, the maths shows it should have been more. It's mad that in a sport so obsessed with millimetres in VAR decisions just alllows officials the choice on whether to add the right amount of time on, or just decide to cut it short.

We all know the main issue. Half the squad has hit the wall.

Some are young enough (or good enough) to fight back, but others are too old (or just not good enough in the first place).

For Ederson, Nunes, Bernardo, De Bruyne, Walker, Gundogan and Kovacic (and probably Stones, sadly), it's well and truly over.

For Lewis, Stones, Ake, Gvardiol, Akanji, and Grealish, they've got the summer and next season to fight back. Otherwise, they're for the chopping block too.

Ortega, Dias, Rodri, Foden, Savinho, Doku, Bobb, and Haaland are the only players I'd definitely keep right now. Plus the three new lads. That's literally it.

A massive rebuild is needed. On top of Marmoush, Khusanov, and Reis, TWO new midfielders need to arrive THIS WEEK or we can kiss goodbye to European football next season. We're at risk of finishing in the bottom half with this squad tbh.

It was such a ridiculously high-risk decision, considering the name of the game in that immediate aftermath of establishing our 2-0 lead was to take absolutely zero risks which could give PSG encouragement.

Rodri carried the team last season, as we can't defend and control games without him. And contributed over 20 goals and assists while holding everything together. It's a bit embarrassing for Pep and the players that we are so dependent on one player but that's the truth. Our attacking players and midfielders are very talented but only in the attacking phase of the game. Defensively, all of them were carried by Rodri.

Rodri's place in this team is so vital to how others can play freely, He covers the defence, He covers the whole of the Midfield, He brings the attackers into the game, Then the most vital thing to our team, Other teams hate playing against us.
