PSG are the best team we've played this season, albeit on that performance because I haven't seen them in any other games.

We've improved and hopefully the new signings will help us to get the requisite points to achieve a top 5 place which should see us in next seasons CL.

I agree with that but we can't buy a break with injuries. Now we have Ake and Dias injured and Walker is off. I don't think Stones is fit so we have Gvardiol and Akanji plus 2 very young defenders.

We’re having a bad time. We’re having great spells in games accompanied by shockers. We have people who shouldn’t be in the team, either at their developmental stage, on the decline or carrying injuries because of injuries and not recruiting at the right time

But some of the shite given to our own players is untrue. I’m sure we all have an occasional moan about players and Pep. But to lay into some of them like is happening, or spout as if we have some kind of entitlement is just odd. Pep said he should have signed players and made a mistake. That should be the end. I am quite positive too if we can get a fit defence. There hasn't been a period all season when we have had a settled back 4. That is probably why we have brought in defensive reinforcements but their age suggests that it will be a long time before they are ready. Pep says they are ready. It's far from ideal.

We don't need a midfielder unless it's a short term loan. If we buy a central midfielder, they will be redundant in a matter of weeks.

100% behind City. I think we played very well in the 1st half but we were missing a lot of key defenders in the 2nd half plus Rodri. You don't get allowances in football though. You have to be fit to play. Our players have broken down. But at least we have done something about it.

Just looked at our odds with the bookies to win the champs league & they still only have us at 11-1....about 5th favourites, the scousers have won 7 out of 7 & they're only 4-1.....clearly the bookies have more faith than the majority of our fanbase on ere! Chin up blues i remember a few teams winning this tournament when they weren't expected to!

PSG played really well, have young hungry players with talent who are prepared to work and press. With the best will in the world, only Liverpool come anywhere close this season in The Premier League. We’re probably a bit worse than Arsenal too, but not by much. After that we’re as good as anyone. We have signings coming in and players coming back. I’m not saying it’s a certainty but we do have a good chance of top 4.

More recent history suggests players are more often than not making excellent recoveries from an ACL. Hopefully it's the case with Rodri, although I agree there are no certainties.

problem is what PSG sensed the same thing after we were 2-0 up is something lesser teams in PL sensed too earlier too and punished us for it. Brighton, Villa, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Brentford.

and we keep playing these again. alongside the more stronger squads too, next 4 PL games?
Chelsea, Arsenal ,Newcastle, Liverpool

whats the points tally in these? do we have enough fire in our belly? what about our brutal fitness issues. leave the injuries thats another suckerpunch but what about the ones that are "fit". KDB, Bernardo, Kovacic etc.

looking at Julian Alvarez energy at Atletico scoring a brace for them yesterday. and we were looking at some Japanese guy at Celtic to replace him in August. then got Mubama and we were ok with it.
