Welcome Abdukodir Khusanov

And now, campers, your starter for ten. Without looking it up on any form of Google or indeed looking it up at all — which other countries are double landlocked, would you say at a guess?
Off the top of my head, I was going to try Central African Republic, but then I'm pretty sure it's got a northern border with Libya, possibly a border with Cameroon (or maybe Zaire), almost certainly an eastern border with the Sudan. If I'm right (and I haven't looked it up, but am just about to!), all three countries have access to the sea.
I suppose the only likelihood would be somewhere else in Asia. In Europe nowhere seems plausible. Plenty of landlocked countries, but no double landlocked. If I'm wrong, let me know, but don't give me the answer, please. That'll give me something to mull over while I'm making my supper… or for the rest of the evening. Was something else on this evening?
And, er… what was this thread about again?

I think he will be played at right back soon enough!
I was wondering where he might play.

I don't know why there is such angst about KDB the OAP midfield. We have lost Rodri. That's bad enough. Take out Dias, Stones, Ake and Walker and where does that leave you. 4-2 down. It's not rocket science, and how the new defenders progress is going to be key. Marmoush will help but he won't stop City conceding goals. How do we fix that? That's presumably where Khusanov and Reis come in. It's going to be a very big ask for them. I can't remember a period like this at City, unless of course the defenders just train and are here for the long term. I don't see how they can be.

I learned from The Times today that Abukodir is an Arabic name that means ‘the servant who can do everything.’ Suits me, sir.
