I remember being in Scotland and watching St Jonstone vs Kilmarnock in about 1997 and it’s still probably the worst match I’ve ever seen.

In the early 90s me and a mate went to Ochilview Park for a pre-season friendly, Stenhousemuir v Falkirk. We got there at 7ish for a 7.30 kick off, and the game had already started. The bloke on the turnstile said that they had kicked off early so they wouldn't need to put the floodlights on.

We stood behind the goal and the Stenny goalie was having a heated row with a fan. The fan shouted 'right' and disappeared, he came back about ten minutes later with his dog, a massive brute of a thing that he threatened to let loose on the poor goalie. There followed a stand off between a group of other fans trying to calm the mad bastard, and his dog down so the game could continue.

Scottish football is madly entertaining.
