We’ve got 3 killer players in the front line anyway. For some reason I’m most excited to see Khusanov. I wonder if Reis might get tried in midfield at some point.

I think Pep needs Akanji to be able to communicate (language wise) with Khusanov.
 
Did Pep bring his boots, I wonder? Perhaps he'll bring himself on at half-time.... Let's face it, he wouldn't look out of place, would he?

Yeah that’s the only reason I’d play him for his recovery play. Also he played in a successful pivot for Sporting. He actually has legs. I know he’s not a great passer and his best qualities being his acceleration and crossing but I’m looking more at his out of possession qualities than in possession.

Deserves it more than Gundogan and (on current form) Bernardo. However, we know you have a dislike of Grealish so not much point in taking it further.

BTW, not his first goal. He scored in the FA cup game too.

Same. Talk about baptism of fire. From the footage I've seen he's partial to throwing himself into tackles. I can't see that working in the prem; he'll need to be a lot more composed.
 
Happy for the new lads, but I would make a couple of changes in that 11. No midfield again, so it will be tough. Having said that, come on City!

He will but he’s got a sort of composed aggression. He’s probably a blend of Van De Ven and Romero. Also comps aren’t really typical of the every day performance. You could watch a comp and think Walker could cross.

Agreed - he can back-pedal faster than most can run forwards. That's the problem
