Was a good game. A crazy opening 10 mins. One minute Marmoush is nearly off to a flaying start and then a right carry on at the back. After that we settled down and deserved the win.

A lot more link up play with Haaland and promising signs with Marmoush looking a lively player.

Bernardo played well and as good as he has been for a while.

Get a grip, wtf are you having a go at Rico ?. If you think our problems this season are down to him alone, you need to stop and think, what do you do ? have you achieved what Rico has done ? He's 19.

As a general view on Rico, he is a nice lad but I think he's been overrated. Easily shaken off the ball. Poor decision making manier times. If he left I dont see this as being any great loss for the club.

major balls up the applause was before the choral but was surposed to be a silence but people started clapping again

Ridiculous tactic considering you can’t be offside in your own half.

Put it down at the time either to cockiness or to inexperience, but it was just a pity that the full-backs weren’t willing to swing their weaker foot and launch it over their heads.

Agreed on the applause. That wasn’t managed very well.

Thought the music was fine too. A decent arrangement and fitted in well enough. Was just surprised it happened as it is more of a Spanish thing that they do.

Was an absolute joy to see Erling isolate his CB, get picked out and dominate. It’s easy to think we dont have a plan B but today we used our physicality and power for the first time in a couple of seasons. Last time was when we battered the tarquins a couple of season ago.

I think Pep will twig on after today that without a classy midfield the tippy tippy won't work. Over the top has to be introduced at times.

No need for that, Rico isn't a natural full back because of the physicality required, when Pep et al realise he is RM or RW he will be pure Prem. Don't forget he's only 19, so less of the snarky shit and get behind him. You have no idea what's required to be an elite player.

I’m right there with you. This forum has been quite the place the last couple of months. And I wouldn’t have been the least bit surprised to see Rico, Grealish, or Walker blamed if we’d been defeated today…even if they were not on the pitch (or in the country).

Really pleased that we won and I was wrong!! We won with that midfield somehow!!! Saying that we had heart today and Chelsea were poor!! We still need at least one midfielder before the deadline closes!!

He needs to improve his positioning though, the way he got done my Madueke at the end was not good, superb going forward though.

He lets the high ball bounce consistently and this consistently puts him in trouble.
He was a lot better today but it is a part of his game that needs addressing.
